awareness, dissemination, acceptability and understanding of our stakeholders of the CLSU Vision
(V) and Mission (M), College of Engineering Goals (G) and our Graduate Programs (MSAEn & PhD
AgEn) Objectives (O). With the constant global development and progress in the field of Agricultural
Engineering and allied industries, we would like to know the appropriateness of our VMGO.

 PART 1. STATEMENT OF THE VISION, MISSION, GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

1.1. CLSU Vision

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) as a world-class National University for science and
technology in agriculture and allied fields.

1.2. CLSU Mission

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) shall develop globally competitive, work-ready, socially-
responsible and empowered human resources who value life-long learning; and to generate,
disseminate, and apply knowledge and technologies for poverty alleviation, environmental
protection, and sustainable development.

1.3. College of Engineering (CEn) Goals

In line with the mission of the University, the goals of the College of Engineering are:

1.3.1. The College of Engineering provides quality education and applies knowledge in
engineering and technology that is proactive of future and relevant agro-
industrial needs in preparation for and furtherance of global practice.
1.3.2. The College engages in research with high socio-economic impact and
contribution towards sustainable development, and reports on the results of such
researches.
1.3.3. The College brings to the community and stakeholders the vast store of
knowledge and technology in order to make the Philippines and the world a
better place.

1.4. Program Educational Objectives

1.4.1. Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering (MSAEn)

After 3-5 years, the graduates of the MSAEn Program are:

Performing higher level or specialized professional practice with initiative,

creativity, substantial degree of independence, leadership and in
multidisciplinary fields;
Provide leadership in planning, implementing, and monitoring ABE projects
and programs.
Occupy supervisory positions in private and public organizations; locally and
internationally
Occupy Assistant to Associate Professor positions in ABE education
Pursue advance studies in ABE and emerging related fields

1.4.2. Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Engineering (PhD AgEn)

After 3-5 years, the graduates of the Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural

Engineering Program are:

Demonstrating specialized, cognitive, technical and research competence

independently and systematically
Provide leadership in planning, implementing, and monitoring agricultural
engineering projects and programs.
Occupy managerial positions in private and public organizations; locally and
internationally
Occupy professorial positions in agricultural engineering education
Pursue postdoctoral studies in agricultural engineering and emerging
related fields
