LEARNER CHARACTERISTIC

Some qualities of the individual that relate to learning are innately


determined. For example, visual acuity, although artificial lenses may aid it, it
is fundamental property of a persons sensory system that is built in and
that cannot be changed by learning.

The speed and effiency of this process is another individual quality that may
be innately determined.

Qualities that are learned : Intellectual skills, cognitive strategies, verbal


information, attitudes and motor skills.

QUALITIES THAT INFLUENCE LEARNING

We can group these factors under motivations and affective factors,


developmental and social factors and individual difference factor.
MEMORY ORGANIZATION

General conception of the stored capabilities of human learners is the notion


of ability and it measured by psychology test.

The abilities areas are verbal, numerical, visual and spatial.

These are usually differentiated into more specific abilities, such as verbal
fluancy, numerical reasoning, memory for visual form, spatial orientation and
the like.

A schemas is an organization of memory elements (propositions, images,


and attitudes) representing a large set of meaningful information partaining to
