Why i want to go to Auburn University Sorority Essay

I am highly delirious to apply to Auburn University. I have fallen in love with the
institution after sighting it first-hand earlier this year. The campus is dulcet and cozy. I have
encountered numerous graduates from the University majority who have irrefutable things to say
about the school especially its social life of its great academic curriculum. I have also been
notified of the schools great history since its establishment in 1856 and its latest remarkable
performance of being ranked 99th across all states in America (US News, 1-2),
Away from the academic issues, I would like to be part of the sorority and/or Greek life
in the school. Auburn has one of the largest Greek communities with 54 Greek entities in the
school. These societies have been involved in many activities especially with charitable
organizations such as the Habitat for Humanity, St. Judes children hospital, American Cancer
Society amongst others. For those involved in Greek associations, the satisfaction rating is at
around 70% making Auburn University a great option for a person seeking to be a member of a
fraternity or sorority. The university is also ranked 26th in America among those that offer the
best Greek lives for students (Best College reviews, 26).
Greek life is one of the significant strategies for having a place with a group in a college.
Greek life will in this manner be of advantage to me since I need to have a feeling belonging
while in Auburn. As a lady I would accordingly join a suitable sorority in the University. A
sorority is an esteem prefaced association which shapes character and makes long lasting
relationships. As a socially cognizant individual, I might want to be among the positions of a
sorority to receive the benefits that accompany it.
The benefits also include good academic achievements, philanthropic participations and
community building. As a member I will also not have the opportunity of getting home sick
since being a member of a sorority is being a member of a family away from home. In
conclusion thus being a member of a sorority and leading a Greek life I will reap many benefits.
