A description of a foldable music stand.

The stand is made up of thin metal poles and bars. Its intended
purpose is to hold sheet music and musical scores in order to render it
easier to read. It can hold 2 to 3 sheets of music at a time. It has
small calipers that can be used to fasten pieces of music to the stand
(in the case of use outdoors etc)

This type of music stand is often referred to as a wire music stand,

which refers to the thinness of the metal of which it is constructed,
and not necessary of it being made of wire.

It can be adjusted in a few different ways; the angle of the part of the
stand that holds the sheet music can be adjusted at different angles.
The main poles height can also be adjusted. The third that can be
adjusted are the three legs at the base of the stand. These
adjustments are used primarily to allow reading by people of different
heights, and in some cases for people that play different instruments.

This time of music stand has annoyed musicians for decades. When a
larger score is placed on the face of the stand, it often falls of the
shelf because of its small size. Scores often fall off the stand when
pages are turned, which is of course a very frequently attempted
process. This is one of the sacrifices one makes when using a
portable stand that folds to a small size.
