monthsfixedtermcontractintheframeofareplacement.WithintheChemistryDepartment,youwillworkin
collaborationwithclientstoprogressdrugdiscoveryprojectsyoumustthereforebecapableofperformingmultistep
synthesestoproduceintermediatesorfinalbioactivemoleculesonsmalltomediumscales.

Designandexecutemultistepreactionstoachieveagreedobjectiveswithhighlevelsofindependenceand
productivity
Contributetothedesign,executionandinterpretationofexperimentsinaprojectteamtoaccomplishproject
goals
Adaptscientificknowledgetoresolveresearchproblemsencounteredinachievingdefinedgoalswithassistance
fromlinemanagerorotherteammemberstomeetinternalandprojectdeadlines
Integrateandanalysestructureactivityrelationshipstoimproveinvitro,ADME,PKandinvivoparameters
Gatheranddiffusepertinentnewsfromthescientificliteratureinorganicchemistryandaroundyourindividual
researcharea
InterpretNMR,LCMSanalyticaldataaswellasresultsobtainedfromadditionaltechniques(IR,Elemental
analysisetc)forthestructuralelucidationofreactionproducts
Presentownworkatprojecttechnicalmeetings,anddepartmenttechnicalmeetingswhenrequired
Reportwithprecisionalltechnicalmanipulationsandresultsinanappropriateelectronicnotebook
Writeandcontributetopublicationsandpatentswherepossible
Applyexistingworkingmethodsaswellassafetyrulesinyourlaboratory
