AUTHOR'S NOTES
This is one of my primary research tools, it's an attempt to place the various stories within
Keiichi's school career. While not absolutely accurate, I've found it useful and thought others
might too. It does put the stories into perspective. Some months are known from statements,
activities, or dates in the stories, some Dark Horse, others independent translations. Others
are determined by holidays and weather conditions. I've also limited it to the Dark Horse
released material, although the Japanese released material doesn't really extend it much.
(My other research table is a combined release table comparing Kodansha releases against
Dark Horse, both idividual stories and TPBs, and referenced to the OAV and movie
developement and releases and Mr. Fujishima's other activities (Piano, YUA, games, etc.) It's a
little larger.)
IMPORTANT NOTES
> Spring break runs from mid-February to the end of March.
> Summer break runs from mid-July to mid-September.
> Winter break runs from late December to early January.
> University entrance exams - March
> Major school festivals (the sort depicted) are in spring and fall. (i.e. welcoming ceremonies
in April, Golden Week April 29-May 5, school/university festivals in Oct./Nov.)
> All other international holidays are on their usual dates.
> Cherry blossom festivals late March, April, early May (start March 21st, mostly in April)
> Plum trees blossom from mid-February to mid-March
> Most snowfall is in February
> For those who've wondered, Tanabata - July 7
DH - Dark Horse TPB number
K - Kodansha chapter number
Between Kodansha chapter number 47 and 76 there is a sort of "Temporal Anomaly" where
some story sets appear to be out of sequence. Internal date references and background
evidence seems to indicate they should be in the sequence I've listed them. I'll explain this
further at the end of the timeline.
I've tried to include all the hard evidence (calenders, verbal statements, activities) for my
dating a story when I did.

End of Timeline
First, I want to make it clear that the stories of Oh/Ah! My Goddess! are meant to be
read in the Kodansha chapter order given, 1 to 197+. While the earlier ones were for
the most part stand-alones, the later ones are more interelated even when they're not
an actual "arc".
Now I'm not saying anyone (Kodansha or Dark Horse) got the story sequence messed
up, but rather that Mr. Fujishima sorta lost track of time in the course of Keiichi's
fourth year. The only reason I've scrambled their order is that my intention is to create
a time line of Keiichi's school career, so I had to intermix these chapters.
Keiichi's fourth year is covered by the sequence of stories from "Robot Confrontation"
(Kodansha #40) through "Never Let Go" (Kodansha #90). Yet if you follow these
chapters in sequence you'll go through two season cycles and school years. Hence one
year of school covers two years of story time.
So either Keiichi and Sayoko (and everyone else in the motorclub) got held back or Mr.
Fujishima just kept writting the story without realizing how much story time was
passing (He is a busy man). My guess is he had the stories roughed out and just set
them in whatever time of year he finally finished them in until he realized it was past
time for Keiichi to graduate. Then he came up with his solution to that problem and
started off again.
To make my point, this would be the correct sequence of chapters for the fourth year.
As you can see they cover two years story time.
