This coming December 7, 2016, the GE Department and GEP-BUSC will be having a seminar entitled 1st
GE Enhancement Program: SEMINAR ON UTILIZATION OF GEOINFORMATION PRODUCTION
SYSTEMS with the theme Highlighting the Role Geoinformatics in the Bachelors' Degree in Geodetic
Engineering, Mining Engineering, Agriculture Engineering Civil Engineering and Forestry. This series
of seminars shall highlight the various Geoinformation production systems, product innovations and
modern technology, providing the field of Geodetic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining
Engineering, Civil Engineering and Forestry with tools and instruments allowing data building, processing
and information exchange to allied and related profession in the future. It aims to boost awareness and
learning associated with various Geoinformation production systems locally available and to advance
knowledge and skills of various Geo-information and Geographic Information Science. The seminar will
be held at Bicol University College of Nursing Amphitheater on December 7, 2016.

In connection with this, we would like to respectfully request from your good office for a resource speaker
for the said seminar regarding the topic LiDAR 1 Research Updates on Dec. 7, 2016, 10:40 to 11:20 AM
