Diagnosis:

History: Event History & Medical history

Sign: What first aider finds in the casualty
Symtoms:What casualty speaks to the first aider.
GOLDEN RULE

D-Danger

R-Response

A-Airway

B-Breathing

C-Circulation

Denger:First the casualty should be kept away from denger .

Response:Alert,Verbal,Pain,Unconsciousness

Pain to be given to sensitive organs by pinch.

Airway:Nose,Mouth

Open airway and clean it in D style by using index or middle finger.Do straight the airway.

Breathing:Look,listen and feel

You can feel after putting finger or chick in front of nose of the casualty.

Circulation:Cheack wheather heart is pumping blood up to brain or not

Radial pulse :Found in hands

Brachial pulse:Found in child

Carotid pulse:Found in the neck

Thumb Rules of Pulse rate:

Ciculation rate=breathing ratex4

Adult-60 to 80 per min,Child-80 to 100 per min,Infaant-100 to 120 per min

No respiration -3 min circulation

No circulation-3min brain active

So 3min+3min=6min This is called GOLDEN MOMENT.

When heart and longs both fails ,leads to Clinical Death.

But after brain damage, leads to Biological Death .

What to do?

If no respiration then perform Artificial Respiration(AR)

If no Circulation then do External Cardiac/chest compression(ECC)

If both absent then do Cardio pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

If both present but unconscious then keep the casualty slept in Recovery position which leads to clear
airway and easy respiration
