b. Literacy Practices
Learning the damage of the cars machine: to know more about the
problems of the car and hoping to fix the damages by myself when the
damage comes in short. I tried to search in google how to repair the damage,
then I followed the rules or the steps that the websites were given. Each step
in google, I noted it in my tab. Then, I went to service station and asked the
mechanic how to repair the machines in simple ways and I noted again what
the mechanic said. So, it makes me refer back to see the instructions.
Making sold goods lists: firstly, I recorded the goods that sold out or nearly
sold and I wrote it in a small note. Then, I bought the goods to the agent.
The seller then gave me price lists. I calculated the origin price with the
profit one. The price lists were collected and reported to know the outcome.
Making hajj gifts list: I made the list of the goods that I have to buy with
the total of the goods. The price lists that given by the seller were collected
and reported to know the outcome.
Ordering taxi online: when my car was at the service station, I need
transportation to carry me to go somewhere, so I decided to order an online
taxi. First, I downloaded the application then I read the steps how to order
the taxi/car online.
Serving buyers: as a seller, I always remember that the buyers are the king
so I have to serve them kindly. From the interaction between seller and
buyers, I noticed that the social relationship builds in our communication.
We talk about everything we need to talk.
Saying hello and goodbye: greet to someone is an important thing that has
been done by people. Saying hello and goodbye are our bridge to keep
the relationship among the neighbor.
Doing aerobics, yoga, and Zumba: doing exercises is the way to keep our
health to always become fit. Through exercises, I could follow the
movement that the instructor gave with matching music. Besides, doing
exercises also made the community build a new social relationship. We can
share everything with different background friends.
Reading and learning the meaning of Quran and Sunnah: this the most
important thing that has to be done by all Muslims. I always make some
notes or make some headlines from the meaning of Quran and Sunnah. It
refers me to make my faith back.
