I V.Srinivas Rao , writing this statement of purpose.

I have completed 4 year bachelor degree with Information Technology from Swarna Bharathi
College Engineering affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad.
My undergraduate Degree provided me with leading edge knowledge in the field of Information
Technology. While doing my under graduation I did two projects as part of my Course
Curriculum.

My Major Project is Internet Usage Monitoring System for Net Cafes &

Minor Project: Ace Internet Service Providers

Later I got placed in one of the most reputed IT companies of India TATA Consultancy
Services, Hyderabad

Coming to my Work Experience: Over 3 years of experience in Software industry with

extensive & diverse work experience on networking and Telecom domain as a Developer &
Support engineer.

On the Basis of my performance and commitment, I was deputed to Sweden-Stockholm

for my client Ericsson to work on new projects for a period of three months.
My project is an R&D (Research and Development) named Connectivity Packet
Platform (CPP) where development is done in different parts of the world.
So I was later deputed to Croatia-Zagreb, where I had an opportunity to work with
networking experts in country for same client Ericsson for a period of two months
As an additional responsibility I used to Co ordinate with off-shore and onsite teams for
issue resolutions.
Working with different clients in different areas of networking and telecom domains
motivated me to study further in these areas.
IELTS:
Having chosen an English speaking country for my higher studies to get an International degree with
exposure I understood the importance of IELTS hence took the test and gained 7.0 bands Score

Why NYIT university?

Though I received admissions from multiple colleges but I choose NYIT finally for following
reasons:

1. NYIT is a global university having Campuses in different parts of world. NYIT-Vancouver

offers a course its Masters in fields of information, network and security.

All these 3 fields are where I worked earlier, so I am interested in gaining more expertise in these
areas.

2. Unlike a diploma program NYIT offers these fields in single masters program called Master of
Science in information, network and computer security (MS-INCS), giving me a competitive
edge in employability and practical work experience.

Future Plans:

My ultimate goal in my career is to make a commendable contribution to the computing world

by doing research which would change/add the dimensions of future computing and the way we
perceive the computers. Once I complete my education I will come to my country to serve in IT
industry since IT is the fast growing sector in India and all most all top companies have set up
their offices in India. I hope it would be easy for me to promote my career when I am back with
an International degree and knowledge on latest technologies.
