Main Project Rehabilitation of Yadoudeh Water Network is a project aim to replace all Steel Pipes and
Features Galvanized Pipes with New HDPE and Ductile Pipes with all Necessary Fittings and
Valves to reduce the non-revenue water from the Water Network and to improve water
supply for the people there, in addition to construct new House Connection to the
households.

Activities Super Vise all the activates in the site and check if comply with project

Reviewing Interim Payment for the Contractor.

Prepare Monthly and Daily Report.

Inventory for all material that delivered from the Employer to the Contractor and

Water network project (WNP) is a project that includes multi-contracts in Zarqa Governorate
which aims to reduce high rates of water loss through Six contracts (6) for construction and
repairs to reservoirs, pumping stations, and primary, secondary, and tertiary pipes, along with
replacement of household connections and customer meters in addition to Three (3)contracts
to replace the facilities inside the NAF people houses in Zarqa Governorate and one contract
for construction of WAJ administration building.

The WNP project includes Eleven (11) contracts as follows :

Five separated projects ( C1 C5 ) for Restructuring and Rehabilitation the Water

Main Project Features

Network in Zarqa as Primary , Secondary and Tertiary pipelines:-

Construction of around ( 850 Km ) primary ,secondary and tertiary DI pipelines (300, 400,
500, and 600 mm) and HDPE Pipeline ( 250, 180, 125, 63, 32 and 25 mm) in addition to all
necessary fittings and valves.

And replacement of around 25,000 Customer Water Meters with Commissioning and
Isolation of 45 DMAs.
C6: Construction of Basateen Pump Station and Reservoir (120/2013):
Construction of Basateen Pump Station and Reservoir with 2000 cubic meters capacity, with four
pumps ( 185 TDH) and (114 L/S) to pump water to Al-Qadsyah Reswrvior in Russaifah with
automated operational system for chlorination and surge protection system.

Water Smart Homes infrastructure THREE Projects: improve the condition of home water
systems and decrease costs in around 4500 households in Zarqa and Russaifah through two separate
components, the outreach campaign and the infrastructure work which includes rehabilitation for the
water and sanitation facilities and increase the drinking water capacity by adding new water tanks.

Procurement of Mechanical Water Meters (69/2013): Procuring 50,000 Units of Mechanical

Water Meters (15mm Diameter) & 500 Units of Mechanical Water Meters (20mm Diameter).

Construction of Zarqa Water Administration building ( 29/2015) :of an area 1627 Sqm ,
Three stores and a basement to be occupied by WAJ (Miyahuna ) staff at Zarqa Governorate .

Activities Follow up and overseeing the implementation for the Water network project contracts in the
performed site directly and report to the manager how is the site condition and any problems during the
execution of the work.
Participate in preparing all needed agreements, amendments and documents.
Prepare all needed correspondences to the involved stockholders in the project.
Obtain, record and review all guarantees, warranties, Insurances and certificates.

Review and provide comments on all submittals by contractors and consultants including work
plans, time lines, deliverable, and other documents.

Review invoices and coordinate with Fiscal Agent and Finance Director for processing
according to the set procedures.

Participate in preparing a report to the MCC senior officials on the budget and timelines of all

projects deliverables. This includes written periodic updates reports on the status of projects
and actions to the Funding agency.

Monitor projects cash flow and coordinate with Finance Director to ensure accurate
disbursement requests to MCC

Monitor the performance indicators of the project each month and contribute with preparing the
Indicator Tracking Table ( ITT ).

Give technical solution for the problems raised in the site, and report to the head quarter about
the situation at the site to help them in taking the decisions.

Review the Variation Orders that submitted from the Engineer to take the appropriate decision
from the MCA-J headquarter.

Review the Base Line Schedule of the project and track the activities in the site.

Review the Monthly Progress Report (MPR) for the contractors and the consultant.
Contribute in preparing the closure plan of the projects.

For the Water Smart Homes Projects :-

Conduct periodic site visit for the house hold who had been served by the 3 Contracts
Report monthly directly to MCC regarding the progress for each contract.
Monitor the cash flow for each contracts and preparing a narrative report for disbursement request and
compare with the planned payment in the cost loaded schedule.
