I am submitting this application for the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation

scholarship to further my education in Bachelor of Science Major in Electrical
Engineering. I have studied for three years as a technology student at the College of
Industrial Technology but have transferred in College of Engineering with a great desire
to be a Licensed Electrical Engineer in the near future. With full hope and aspiration, I
hope to be a scholar in your foundation to have another motivation (besides of my family)
to pursue my goal and to strive hard. This will enable me to push myself to the edge of
what I can become and what I can do. I also want to ease the burden of my parents in
financing my study because our family income and budget is just enough for our daily
needs and this will be a great help for us.
If I am fortunate and qualified enough to receive this scholarship, I will finish my
degree and fulfill my dream of being an Engineer. I hope you will consider my
