2. Do Problem 1 except that now the frequency of the first oscillator is reduced to 5000 Hz and
the frequency of the second one (one the right) is increased to 40000 Hz. Pay particular attention
to part c) regarding the individual recovery of each message. If it is not possible to do so,
explain why.

3. Do Problem 2 except that now the frequency of the first oscillator is increased to 20000 Hz
while the second one is increased to 50000 Hz.

4. In Problem 1, assume that the second message has highest frequency component of 15000 Hz
(rather than 5000 Hz). What is the lowest frequency that the first oscillator and have and that the
second oscillator can have that will allow recovery of each individual message?

There problems must be worked on independently and turned in on Wed. Feb. 4, 2015. You are
required to place a cover sheet in front of the papers showing your work. The cover sheet to be
