3-D

Deer Head
The following instructions are for the 3-D Deer Head.

Step 1 Cut out all of the pieces.

Take the two piece for the base plaque and


Step 2 lineup the pre-cut slits as shown and
secure with glue or adhesive.

Next, slip the tabs of one side of the head


through the slots on the base plaque, and
Step 3 fold and secure tabs with glue or adhesive.

** I found two pieces of tape worked best.**

This is the most time consuming portion of


the assembly. If you have someone to
assist you in holding the plaque while you
attach the two head pieces it will make the
attachment much faster and easier.

Step 4 foam-core, chipboard, or cardboard.

This is not necessary, but it makes display


a lot easier.

Now, you are ready to assemble the deers


layers. Take the largest oval piece and slip the
pre-cut slits into the the pair of slits located
Step 5 closest to the base at the back of the head.

Insert the rest of the graduated pieces of the


head, EXCEPT the ears and antlers.

Step 6 Continue to the next largest piece moving from


the base plaque towards the nose.

Be sure to skip the shallower slits at the top of


the head, which are for the ears and antlers.

Slide the assembled ears into the pre-cut slit in
the center of the head as shown.
Step 8

To assembly the antlers, take the second largest


pieces, they resembles a branch with u shape at
Step 9 the end and have two slits each, insert the slit
farthest from the u into the slit on the antlers
closest to the center on each side.

Next, curve the piece you just inserted towards


the middle and the slit in the center of the main
antlers. Repeat the process on the other side.
Step 10
insert one on each side in the slit closest to the
outter tip.

Here is the complete deer head.
