PUP Mulanay

In celebration of The Torch Bearer Organization (TTBO) 14 th Founding Anniversary with the
theme, Guro, Kabalikat Sa Pagbabago the Educators Community is invited to join the 2016
Academic Contest.

Contest Rules and Mechanics

General Rules

1. Contest are open to all bona fide students at any year level of the College of Education
who have been chosen by their respective year level as official representative/s.
2. The Educators Academic Contests 2016 is open to all, including previous winners.
3. A student shall represent his/her year level only once and should not join in any other
events of this years Educators Academic Contests.
4. All teams/s contestants are required to be at the contest site 30 minutes before the
scheduled time
5. The following number of representative/s shall be strictly followed:

Team Contests
1) General Mathematics
2) General Information
3) General Science
4) Filipino

One (1) team only per year level composed of 3 members.

Individual Contests
1) Dagliang Talumpati
2) Extemporaneous Speaking
3) Poem Writing
4) Pagsulat ng Tula
5) Essay Writing
6) Pagsulat ng Sanaysay
7) Spelling Quiz Bee

One (1) representative per year level.

6. The following point system shall be adopted to determine the over-all champion of the
Educators Academic Contests 2016
INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY
First Place 9 points
Second Place 6 points
Third Place 3 points
Participation 1 points

TEAM CATEGORY

7. There shall be no tie in any of the individual and team contests.
8. Winners shall receive certificates during the Awarding Ceremony on December 2, 2016 at
the PUP Quadrangle.
