Objective

I am a focused, committed nursing student with years of experience providing compassionate care to families and children, ready to join my love of
caregiving with my passion for women's health. I received valuable clinical experience on many units at St. Joseph's Hospital leading to a final
preceptorship on Labor and delivery at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital. Anticipated graduation on August 4th, 2017; I plan to sit for the boards
immediately. I am seeking a position as a Labor and Delivery RN to join a team of individuals who share my passion for providing the safest and
highest quality care for mothers, babies, and their families.

Work Experience

Preceptorship May 2017-August 2017

180-hour clinical preceptorship on the Labor & Delivery Unit at St. Josephs Womens Hospital. Duties include admissions,
assessments, management of laboring and induction patients, IV starts, Foley catheter insertions and care, fetal heart rate strip
analysis, medication administration, Pitocin titrations, critical thinking and nursing interventions based on fetal tolerance to labor,
emotional support and motivation, patient education, interprofessional communication with physicians, NICU, OR, nursing staff,
sterile vaginal exams, newborn assessments, breastfeeding support and assistance, charting in Cerner, and more.

Care Provider November 2015- Present

Manage care of a 10 month old baby girl, promotes language development and meeting milestones, works with parents to develop
programs to promote positive behaviors, create an age appropriate nutrition plan, maintain a play environment, provide support and
administers medications in times of illness.

Care Provider/Personal Assisstant May 2014-January 2016

Managed and coordinated the schedules of a family of 5; transported children between school, medical appointments and extra-
curriculars; developed programming to meet developmental milestones for three boys aged 2,5,and 7. Managed household staff when
parents were away, ensured effective communication between parents, teachers, sports coaches, physicians, etc. about childrens needs
and behaviors, manage children and medications in times of illness.
