I am a humanitarian aid worker with 13 years of multidimensional professional experience in
coordination and management of emergency preparedness and responses, and ensuring the
consistent flow of information of humanitarian situation. I have expertise in natural and man-made
catastrophic contexts in the continuum from emergency to development by adapting the advising
policies on emergencies and programme guidances, related to implementation of the emergency
preparedness measures. Further, I have well proved my abilities to conceptualize, develop, plan and
manage programmes as well as impart knowledge and teach skills in Afghanistan (Returnees,
Conflicts & Natural Disasters), Pakistan (Conflict, Refugees & Natural Disasters), Liberia (Cote dIvoire
Refugees), Niger (Malian Refugees & droughts), Sierra Leone (Ebola Virus Disease) and Yemen
(Conflict).
I am capable of integrating in a multidisciplinary, challenging and highly volatile environment.
In addition to the degrees awarded i.e. Master of Arts in Social Work and Master of Science in
Project Management along with short dissertations as Building a Better Response, Disaster Risk
Reduction, International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law, I have been trained and well equipped
in all spheres of management.
In my present & earlier roles, my responsibilities consisted of; overall Inter-agency coordinations,
emergency responses management such as emergency assessments, project cycles, narrative and
financial reporting, logistics, procurement, security management, ensuring responses on strategies
including SPHERE and INEE minimum standards for emergency response management and support
to Implementing partners and act as focal person for compliance to donors instructions, budget
preparation and analysis.
Furthermore, I have provided effective assistance to representatives in emergency operations
oversight and program management with clear accountability. Maintained continuous, effective and
strategic coordination, communication, consultation and ensured that liaison remains effective with
the Government, UN agencies, NGOs, Donors and Allies in support of the special needs of children
and women affected by emergency situations within the framework of the cluster approach and
based on the Core Commitment for Children.
I possess ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective
working relationships both within and outside the organization. I have expertise in cultivating
effective business relationships across diverse organizations while fostering collaboration and
partnerships. I am well polished in professional presentation, analytical, negotiation, communication
and advocacy skills.
I have sound practical experience of maintaining logistics, their records and management of
programmes, finance management, staff safety and security. I have been responsible for
coordinating and providing guidance on programmes to ensure that overall programmes maintain
high standards. Developed clear doable plan, delegated responsibilities, regular monitoring gave
advice on time and extended necessary support including; providing additional resources to the
team and reinsured that the targets are achieved as per our implementation plans. Moreover,
developed proposals, strategies, implementation plans and exit strategies with partners in such a
way that the on-going project would not collapse once the organization phased-out which required
significant efforts in partners' capacity building. My job constantly requires intensive coordination
among the stakeholders like donors, United Nation agencies, Government and International NGOs
operating in that area.

response resources, close coordination with stakeholders, confidence on SPHERE & INEE minimum
standards and implementations, mapping of disaster prone areas and use of GPS, experience in
responding to natural disasters, management of implementation through partner during the 1st
phase of emergency, minimum standards of organization and institutional donors and compliance,
humanitarian principles and international standards, confident on project cycling management,
budget monitoring and reporting to institutional donors as per requirements.
My areas of expertise are assessments, proposal writings, planning and implementation,
coordination, reporting, donors relation & compliance, operational management (budgeting &
financial management) also remained involved in Emergency Responses (Natural Disaster, Conflict,
Post Conflicts and Health Emergencies) and Early Recovery, Camp Management, Non Food Items
(NFIs), Shelter, Emergency Education, Food Security, Community Restoration, WASH (Public Health
Promotion & Public Health Engineering), Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, Livelihoods and Durable
Solutions/Protection programmes funded by multi donors with multi millions.
