Cecil works with JJ to create a superhero outfit from old clothes Newt. He successfully turns Newts
oversized clothes and immediately connects it to something like Superman. This shows that Cecil is
indeed a creative person who has a lot of witty ideas to brighten up his friends life.-

OPINION (O) In my opinion,
Cecil is really supportive to his friend. He is a true friend to Newton Newman and JJ through
thick and thin. For instance, although Cecil is shorter and skinnier than Newton, he stands up for
Newt when Newt is threatened by Ricky Ratner and his gang. Similarly, Cecil encourages and
support Newt in the audacious plan to climb Appleton water tower to persuade Riggie Ratner not to
jump. In my opinion, coincidently Cecil also helps Newt to overcome his fears of height. He always
fight alongside his friend, Newt, who is also known as Captain Nobody.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, Cecil Butterworth is creative, determined and supportive to his friends. It is because
of his interesting character as a side kick to Captain Nobody that makes this novel exciting.
