Mission of Organization and Contribution to Society

Penang Animal Welfare Society (4PAWS) is a no kill animal shelter that houses
over 600 stray and abandoned dogs based in Teluk Bahang (Penang Animal Welfare
Society (4PAWS), 2017). The founder of 4PAWS, Barbara Janssen whom has a big
heart for dogs came to Penang more than 7 years ago has sacrificed a lot for the stray
dogs by giving them a comfortable life. She has also implemented a policy which is to
never kill and never turn away sick and injured dogs who severely needed care.

The mission of the organization is to provide a home for the homeless, abused
and neglected dogs or puppies. It can observed that there is a significant increase in
the number of unwanted dogs on the streets from time to time and the problem will
only grow worse if the pet owners does not change their mind-set. There are several
reasons that causes the pet owners to leave their dogs such as pet owners start to get
busy with their lives and prioritize other things above the dog. Besides, sometimes
people relocate to a new home and are unable to take their dogs with them, it might
be an apartment that does not allow dogs or moving in with a roommate who is allergic
to a dog. Thus, some of the irresponsible pet owners will not put their dogs at an animal
shelter as they think it is troublesome to find an animal shelter for the dogs and the
dogs ended up to be left on the streets.

On the other hand, there are also cases reported that dogs are being abused
intentionally to keep their pet under control. This can be seen where the collar of the
dogs are so tight that it has caused a neck wound or has become embedded in the
dog's neck. Besides, dogs are being punished by being tied up alone outside for long
periods of time without adequate food or water.

The importance of providing shelters for the dogs is to control overpopulation

of animals particularly dogs roaming the streets that roam wild, carrying diseases and
spreading to people and other animals. Besides, they could also cause traffic
congestions or even worse increase the accidents in Penang. Without shelters,
animals may be abused or hurt by owners who are frustrated with their pet or no longer
can care for their pet the right way. Shelters are important to bring communities
together by creating ways to volunteer and learn about being a humanitarian. Animals
who need a second chance at being part of a family can be found in one spot and
keeps adoption costs down so anyone wanting a pet can afford them unlike pet stores

1
that charge a lot and breed animals in unsafe conditions. Shelters make sure the pet
population is controlled and animals treated respectfully.

In order to set free the dogs and allow the dogs to have a better home, the first
objective of the organisation is to educate adopters and the general public on
responsible pet care so the animals will not suffer from their selfishness. The
organisation offers a variety of programs that nurture the empathy inherent in
individuals. They even have their own official website where there are articles about
spay & neuter, fostering & adoptions and stories on saving lives of the dogs to
provide education and information about animals to the community. Through this way,
they are able to raise public awareness and encourage the pet owners to change their
way of thinking and learn to respect their own dogs.

Secondly, to solve the severity of the stray dog problem in Penang. The
organisation has accepting any kinds of dogs who are suffering and abandoned. They
also provide vaccination for the dogs to keep other shelter animals healthy. Besides,
they encourage adoptions by organizing events to allow public to adopt instead of
buying a dog from a pet shop when people want to raise a dog. They even establish
a fun theme to promote the event such as pet idol to showcase the dogs to highlight
the special qualities of each dog hoping for a new home and catch the attention of the
public. They hope to give these beautiful dogs the love and happy life they deserve.

Thirdly, to raise awareness and importance of spaying and neutering to control

stray population which is an effective method of birth control for dogs. This is because
helping neuter stray dogs is to prevent these dogs from breeding more stray puppies.
Spaying dogs will decrease the risk of male dogs to be less likely to roam away from
home as some male dogs will do just about anything to find a mate, including finding
creative ways escape from the house. Once he is free to roam, he will risks injury in
traffic and fights with other male animals.

2. Organization of Activities

Previous reports which are the proposal and reflective report were divided into
5 parts so that everyone get a fair amount of work, the reports were then submitted to
the team leader to combine the whole report and then submit to the lecturer in charge.
The proposal was done before the visit to 4paws which was during the 1st 3 weeks of
holistic class. The reflective report was done during and after the visit to 4paws which
was around week 7 of the holistic class.

The team started the visit on 5th of March with the help of some friends from
other team, the team leader booked an appointment with Ms. Barbara Janssen which
is the person in charge of 4paws at the time of 2pm until 5pm. The team prepared
earlier, and get to enter the first gate as a warm up, while waiting for the rest of the
team members to come. As shown in the Figure 1.1, the dogs are kept inside safely,
and there are less dogs compared to the inner area. Figure 1.2 is the picture of the
inner area, which dogs that are newly rescued and a can be little fierce are kept inside.
Before entering the inner are, the team is required to fill in a form and sign it, it is stated
in the form that any harm or injuries happened inside the inner are, 4paws will not bear
the causes.

Dogs in the inner are tend to be more playful and will jump onto you as shown
in Figure 1.3. After getting to know the area, and understanding the situation, the team
started helping out by bathing some of the dogs at around 3pm, Figure 1.4 are some
pictures of the process, the dogs are covered in shampoo in the first picture, and was
given a thorough massage, then the team wash off the shampoo using the small hose
provided.

so that they can dry off from the excess water during bathing. The dogs were brought
out to the outside of 4paws for the walk. After the walk, the dogs were brought back to
4paws safely.

Figure 1.6

After a long day of learning and experienced, the team ended the day with a
group photo with Ms. Barbara as shown in Figure 1.6, the team bought t-shirts from
4paws as donation for 4paws.

The team then proceed with the report preparation and video editing after the
memorial visit to 4paws. The work was divided fairly as there are 5 members in a team,
3 persons were in charge of the report while the rest work on the video editing and
presentation video shoot. People who were in charge of report writing, get to do it
individually. The team also agreed to meet up every Wednesday for presentation video
shoot. The last part of report distribution was separate into 3 parts, 1 person was in
charge of Organization & Activity while another 2 were in charge of Group reflection
on team-work. The whole project preparation was a success with little to no conflict,
every part of the job was carried out smoothly.

7
3. Group reflection on team-work.

Through this 4PAWS visitation, we had learned that how to take care a dog.
For example, we feeding the dogs, help the dogs to take a bath and take the dog for
a walk after they having their food and bath. It is a different experience for most of our
group member because most of the group member they didnt have their own dog in
their home and for most of us this is a first time and a good chance for them to take
an experience on how to caring a dog. We spent quite some time in learning the
techniques of caring and bathing a dog. We also learned that a good team work can
plays a vital role in fulfilling and achieving common goals in a quick and better. After
some discussion, we had assigned and planned the work for every group member
while taking care the dogs. For example, Ms Melissa helps to brush the dogs before
the dogs taking a bath, Mr Low Ji Hen helps to bring the dogs to the places for bath,
Mr Lee Kah Wei help the dogs bath after brush, Ms Veron help to wipe the dog and
Ms Goh Yee Peng help to check the dogs which still not yet bath and after bath.
Through this, we had learned that a good communication are very important to make
a team can work on more efficiently and complete all the task on more effectively.

Furthermore, we also face a lot of problems while prepare for going to 4PAWS
and while in the 4PAWS. Some of our members have the transportation problems to
get to 4PAWS because they didnt have their own transport. They have to take a bus
from the bus station to Teluk Bahang the place that where the 4PAWS is. Because of
the 4PAWS is in the remote areas so for the member who are take a bus to 4PAWS,
they still have to walk to 4PAWS while they arrive the Teluk Bahang by bus. It will be
a journey that will waste a lot of time for the member who didnt have their own
transport because they have to walk to the bus station to wait the bus and still have to
walk to the 4PAWS after coming from the bus.

After some discussion, we decided to car pool to 4PAWS to let our group
member who had the transportation issues can also join us and arrive 4PAWS in time
easily without wasting the time to wait the bus. Through this action, every member of
our group could arrived 4PAWS on time and punctual. Punctual is always a problem
that will be faced by a group so that after some discussion, we decided to choose one
of the member of our group to become the group leader. The group leader needed to
be a reminder to keep remind all the members and if there was any changes, the group

8
leader needed to be informed all the group members and make sure that all the group
member had received the latest info.

Moreover, we also realized that some of the dogs in 4PAWS was seems to be
afraid to get along with the strangers, so that this was a big problems and difficulties
for us that who want to get close with them and help them take a bath. We tried our
best to get close with the dogs by play with them and feed them food to let the dogs
put down their vigilance after heard some advices from the 4PAWS volunteers and
workers. For us, this is a very useful knowledge and experience that we cant learn on
the book or the dictionary.

Nevertheless, we also have some inefficient on solving the difficulties such as

we had team members suggested an idea which is donate some dog food to the
4PAWS but we couldnt execute it. It is because we did not think of to inform the person
who in charge the 4PAWS dog food that we have interested to help to donate the dog
food and we did not really understand what kind of particular brand that the dogs in
4PAWS having. At the end, we decided to donate money and buy the t-shirt that sold
in the 4PAWS. Through this, we really feel that the importance of discussion may bring
a task or a role a fully completion and can drive a good team performance.

3. Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals and
lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an
individual?

This project has a duration of approximately 12 weeks, and all of the team
members including me are having real fun in the progress of it. I have learnt much
from this project and there are few points that I wish to point out and elaborate
including the skills, morals and lessons that are meaningful to me.

First of all, time management is very important in order to succeed. During the
preparation and execution period, our core subjects assignment has occupied most
of our times and we barely prepare for the meetings of this subject, which lead to
inefficient and ineffective meeting that could come out with not much result. Therefore,
I have learnt to partition my time better and manage my priority so that everything can
be done smoothly and tasks shall not overlap to prevent messy management.

Besides, task distribution is very important for a group work because I am

usually the one that help to delegate or distribute task in this project. If there are tasks
that doesnt distribute well in the group, it will create more confusion and drag down
the whole progress and it is not healthy for our assignment development. Therefore,
as a group leader task delegation is very important.

Moreover, we must be tolerating when we are discussing in the meeting.

Everyone has different opinions on an issue during meeting and each of us have the
chance to speak out our opinions, but if the group do not tolerate or do not willing to
listen to others opinions, the meeting shall end up in chaos or could results in bigger
arguments. Therefore, everyone should learn how to compromise to each others idea
and opinions then come up with the best decision for the group.

Last but not least, we shall not be biased with our own opinion. People tend
give strong justification to support their statements, ideas or opinions which everyone
in the team has the same exact actions too. Therefore, we must be willing to listen to
the opinions share by others and consider those opinions with rationality in order to
make the best decision.

11
4. Personal future development. Description of what future development is
required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person.

Initiative is one of most important development I should foster on. I tend to not
take initiative in any kinds of works because I dare not to take the responsibility and
too lazy to be responsible for everything that are related to the specific works. However,
I have improved my game in this project because I tried to take the leader role in the
project and deal with matters and decisions involve in this project. However, there are
still a lot of things that I could learn and I wish to improve myself in this.

Secondly, commitment. Once a person has decided to commit into a project or

task, he or she must devote himself/herself into the work so that the work can be done
with hundred percent or all-out efforts. Commitment is that important when it comes to
group works that your progress could not slow down because it might drag others
works and the group progress as well. Therefore, in this project I have realize that I
should put more commitment into the things that I have promised to do so that I could
become a more responsible person.

Thirdly, we should prioritize things up before everything starts. As a students or

teenager, we tend to have multiple tasks on hand to be done within limited time.
Therefore, prioritize tasks that are important to us on the top of the list, and put
entertainment on the bottom of the list is extremely important. The best reason why
people succeed in respective field must be priority, where people make their work as
priority so that they can win in the field. I wish to improve my personality on priority
and not to be interfere by other factors.

Fourthly, we shall give more than receive. This project has help us to step out
of our comfort zone and get out to contribute ourselves to the society. Initially, the
feeling of going out to carry out activities like that will be fear, but satisfaction and
happiness will come along during the process and I will say that this is one of the best
feeling that we can feel. Helping others and society is one of our responsibility and this
is what we should always do to make the world better.

3. Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals and
lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an
individual?

One of the greatest joys of giving a visit to Penang Animal Welfare Society
(4PAWS) is getting to know the dogs. A lot of the dogs are very social and enjoy being
around people. Despite the fact that many dogs come from abusive scenarios, they
are very forgiving and appreciate being around people.

Second, we become kind of a spokesperson for the dogs. We become the

person that knows the dogs and can speak up for them. We can talk about 4PAWS
and show people that these dogs have personalities and enjoy life when given the
chance.

Third, many dogs come from abusive situations and already have life-
threatening diseases. As well, most of the dogs live out their lives in 4PAWS. Loss is
a sad but necessary part of 4PAWS and no matter what we do, it will happen. However,
it is important to remember that they have lived a better life in 4PAWS. Despite their
life before in 4PAWS, they were treated with respect, appreciation and will be
remembered after their death.

Fourth, while being around the dogs is nice, volunteering does not always mean
working directly with the animals. A lot of the work done in 4PAWS involves feeding,
giving dogs water, cleaning up waste, and doing other miscellaneous things around
there. Volunteering in 4PAWS is a lot more than petting the dogs and brushing them.
There is a lot of hard work required to keep 4PAWS up and running, especially if dogs
are continually being taken in. As well, it requires a lot of financial support. Keeping
hundreds of dogs well fed, clean, in a proper environment, and healthy are costly and
requires a lot of resources and help. Its not something we take lightly.

The most important thing we have learned is how important volunteering is. Not
only is it important for organizations, but it is important for the volunteers. Knowing that
we are an important part in making these dogs lives better is very heartwarming.
Getting to know these dogs and their stories are so uplifting. If we cant volunteer, we
highly recommend visiting these places and donating to them if we are able.

13
4. Personal future development. Description of what future development is
required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person.

Dogs tend to be viewed as family members. They are an important source of

affection and attachment and are an integral part of our society. However, millions of
dogs are abandoned worldwide every year, which is an important issue because it is
considered a major animal welfare problem. For future development, we should
reduce the number of abandoned animals and improving the number and quality of
adoptions.

Actually, we can give a helping hand to animal welfare society by getting involve
as a volunteer. Few hours a week can makes a difference for those societies. As a
volunteer, we can help in dog care, office work, fundraising, event planner and yard
work. For kids that are underage and still not be able as a volunteer, they can talk to
their friends and church groups about collecting pet food and supplies for those animal
welfare societies.

In addition, we can get involves as a foster as well. There are a lot of benefits
for the foster parent. Fostering is fun and full of ever changing and entertaining
experiences. It provides a realistic outlet for animal lovers who must put a cap on the
number of their own personally owned pets. It is also providing enriched household
experience where everyone learns about animal care, responsibility, and respect for
living beings.

Furthermore, we can participate as a fundraiser as well. We can check with

local animal shelters and rescues to see if they need any assistance with upcoming
fundraisers. If we cannot physically be there to participate in a fundraiser, spread the
word by way of social media, email, flyers, or informing the local media.

Last but not least, if we do not have the time to become a volunteer or a foster,
we can also help them as a donator. There are many donation options to support the
animal welfare societies beyond donating. And all the donations go to caring for the
animals and maintaining the shelter. First, cash is the most common form of giving.
Second, materials and items donation also needed for the animal welfare societies for
example animal shampoo, baby bottles, blankets, laundry detergent, newspaper,
watering cans, broom, bucket, garbage bags, mops, paper towels, facial tissues and
others.

14
As a conclusion, each of us can make a difference in the lives of these needy
beings and help to make their lives far better than they are. Saving sentience is really
easy to do and we encourage everyone to do what they can.

Section 3: Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals
and lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an
individual?

While carrying out this assignment, I have enhanced several skills and learnt some
moral values and lessons from this project. I realized not only humans need to be felt
loved and cared but animals too. We should treat them with respect, the same as
humans. We should support and lend a hand to the animal welfare societies such as
4paws and SPCA more often. Before I visit 4paws, I was afraid of dogs and resist to
touch them but after visiting the place, I understand that they do have feelings. We
should not be afraid of them or abandon them even though they are infected with
disease or sick. 4Paws did a really great job in saving the strays on the streets. They
provide them with food and not just a shelter but a home for the dog to get connected
with more people because there are volunteers who often pay a visit to 4Paws.

Furthermore, Ive learnt to be more responsible in completing the assigned

tasks in tight deadlines to prevent affecting the plan and getting my teammates into
trouble. Even though there are disagreements between our group members but we
learn to compromise things and resolve the matter with a rational mind rather than
causing fights or try to shuffle the work off onto others to burden them. Punctuation is
a major responsibility, if someone is late for a meeting, the team members will have to
waste time rehashing the materials that has already been discussed when latecomers
arrive. Thus, Ive trained myself to take notes for the important dates and set a
reminder to always be punctual.

Nevertheless, I learn to have courage and overcome my fears towards dogs. I

tend to avoid dogs not to mention walking a longer distance just to get far away from
them when I meet them on the streets. Ive heard took the advices from my teammates
and paid a visit to 4Paws to get near with the dogs. I was afraid to get inside but just
stood outside of the gates and saw numerous dogs are happy to welcome us in. Once
I got there, the dogs do not simply bite nor bark at strangers. Besides, giving them a
bath is a task assigned to us and that was not a big issue although we are
inexperienced. They are easy to handle as most of the dogs will not run around nor
need us to force them to take a bath.

16
Section 4: Personal future development. Description of what future development
is required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person

Personal and professional development help ward off negative thoughts that
prevent us from taking steps towards self-improvement. Personal development is a
reflective process rather than an action and should underlie everything that we do.
There will be various ways to engage with the process of Personal Development. In
my opinion, I will improve self-knowledge as knowledge is necessary to determine a
persons life. We are able to find a job with higher pay easily if we have knowledge
and this results in, we are able to take good care of our family and will not burden or
worry them.

Nevertheless, I will try to improve my abilities in time management. Time

management is to spend his or her time effectively and efficiently, concentrates his or
her efforts on the most important priorities and adeptly handles several tasks at once.
This skill is essential in handling the hectic schedules of work and life. By doing this, I
will first create a timetable and schedule the important tasks at the first priority and
follow it. This leads to being responsible in completing the tasks on time.

Confidence is not something that can be learned like a set of rules, confidence
is a state of mind. Positive thinking, practice, training, knowledge and talking to other
people are all useful ways to help improve or boost your confidence levels. I will try to
build self-confidence and try approaching people rather than they come to approach
me first because I am not an initiative person. By volunteering, Im able to improve my
interpersonal skills as well as gaining better communication. Therefore, I will try to
participate more in volunteering programs or undertake more involvement in social
activities and situations to develop confidence.

In conclusion, Ive realised that personal skills are important, and they are not
as difficult to learn as I thought earlier. Thus, I will turn my weaknesses into my
strengths and be a better person so that I am able to contribute to the society in the
future.

3. Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals and
lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an
individual?

Through this project, I had made my 2nd time that visited to 4PAWS. The dogs
of 4PAWS are very friendly but also some of the dogs are was afraid strangers. During
this visit, I had met one dog which is named Rebecca. Rebecca is a dog which is
some disability because it has lost one leg. When I first seen Rebecca, my
sympathized has been grow up. I had chat with the 4PAWS regular volunteer to know
about the story of Rebecca which is why Rebecca is disability and how Rebecca came
to 4PAWS. The volunteer of 4PAWS had explained the whole story for me which is
Rebecca actually is a stray dog that appear at the back of mountain that nearby the
Teluk Bahang which is in the same area that 4PAWS stay. The volunteers said that
they received a report from the nearby residents said that they had saw a dog that was
injured in the mountain. The volunteers describe that when they received the report
they hurry drive to the mountain and looking for Rebecca but they cant found her.
Unfortunately, they didnt give up on looking for Rebecca. In the next day, they
successfully founded Rebecca and also realized that Rebecca was injured by fall into
a trap that had been set in the mountain. They brought Rebecca back to the 4PAWS
and take care of it until now. Since then, Rebecca also become afraid strangers maybe
is because she scared she will get injured again. So that, except the volunteers of
4PAWS, Rebecca wont like to near the others. This is one of the difficulties that I was
met in the 4PAWS because when I try to get close to it, she would be more farther and
farther away from me. Even so, I also wont give up to get close with her. I tried my
best to play with her to get close with it. Finally, at the end Rebecca willing to let me
touch her and feed with her. Through this I had learned that a moral value which is
dont give up easily even though we met any difficulties works or things in our life.
Furthermore, I also learned that we should always taking care for the animals that
surrounded us and try our best to protect them if can. I also had grown my sympathized
and decided want to try my best to help and taking more care for the stray dogs.

18
Moreover, I also learned that how to communicate with the dogs from the 4PAWS
regular volunteers and try to know the needs of the dogs. I also met my first experience
on help the dogs bath. Although it is my first time, but I had tried my best to let the
dogs enjoyed on their bath. Some of the dogs in 4PAWS dont like to bath, the
volunteer of 4PAWS taught me try to keep patient while bathing the dogs and be
careful on it because some of the dogs they didnt like to wash their heads.

Except the experience in 4PAWS, I also had learned some skills from our team
members in this project. One of the skills that I had learned through this project is the
communication skills. Being able to communicate effectively is the most important of
all life skills. The ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended,
is a vital life skill and something that should not be overlooked in our life. It can improve
our quality of life. I also realized that the teamwork is very important. It is because
through teamwork we can clearly recognize our role characteristics.

4. Personal future development. Description of what future development is

required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person.

Through this project, I also decided try to take part or join more on the
community society, especially is for animals because many of them need our concern
and caring. I also decided that since I was free I want to make more visits to the
4PAWS, the animal welfare society or the animal adoption association to give a
helping hand to more and more animals.

Furthermore, I also hope that I can held a fundraiser for the animals to let them
can have a good shelter and taking a good care. I will also willing to donate the money
to help them at all.

Moreover, not only animals, I will also try to take part myself in helping humans too
such as the orphanage, the nursing home for the elderly, the disability centre and
others. In this world, there was not only animals need our concern and our care, most
of the humans need also. I will also try my best to raise fund for them to let them can
stay in a better environment and taking a good care.

19
In addition, except helping the animals, I also hope that I can make some contribution
to this society. I will try my best to participate and solve the problem that will be facing
for this society.

3. Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals and
lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an
individual?

Tolerance is known to be very important when it comes to preparing a project,

each individual person should learn to be tolerance, if each and every person is
tolerant enough, team work will be developed. For example, when the team was
coming up with ideas of what to do at the beginning of the week of holistic class, I
learnt to be more tolerant even though there are some plans that I do not agree just
because I do not like it, but I have to be tolerant, so that the project will be carried out
smoothly.

During the project, as mentioned in previous report, the team visited 4paws,
lesson was learnt during the process of the project. I was able to see how much pain
the stray dogs had went through. Through this experienced, I learned to be more
thankful for my life, and furthermore, I grow to sympathized for the stray dogs, and
hope to contribute more to the society to help decrease. One of the moral that I learnt
is that we should adopt the dogs instead of buying one, and always remember, taking
care of a dogs needed full responsibility, we do not want the dogs to end up being
homeless.

Moreover, I learned how community service work and will try to participate more
in community services, like what we should do before taking part in a community
service, the basic of most basic is making appointment with the person in charge of
the place, and then at least understand a little bit about the place before visiting.
During our visit to 4paws, I get to chat with one of the regular volunteers there, I was
able to hear him share the stories of being a regular volunteer there and found it
intriguing, it was then realized the joy of participating in community services.

Throughout this whole project, I grow to love dogs more and more, and learn to
tolerate with every person I meet. Learning to agree with peoples opinion is one of the
step to grow. Furthermore, I also learned to be more independent, like writing reports
and preparing certain task without further knowledge, of course there were some
guidance from my team mates, but those were general guidance given.

21
It was a worthwhile experience and a memorial visit, despite the project being
a part of an assignment, I gained some knowledge and even get to build a strong
relationship with my team mates, this project was worth the time and effort in my
opinion.

4. Personal future development. Description of what future development is

required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person.

After the memorial experience of this project, I hope to take part in community
service more, not only dogs, but humans too, hoping to help the world by making the
world a better place. In the future, I hope to rely on myself instead, like booking an
appointment with person in charge instead of asking for help, in order to be more
independent.

After seeing the dogs, I hope to contribute a little with what can do when I have
the time to, like visiting 4pawas more and maybe prepare some food for the shelter. If
I cannot contribute any physical stuff, I will try to help out by washing and walking the
dogs, hoping to decrease the labour of the volunteers from the dog shelter.

Furthermore, I also wanted to lead a team one day. Being a leader is a tough
job, you need high tolerance and patience, after seeing the hard work of our leader
contribution, I hope to try be the leader myself one day, so that I can see the point of
view of a leader and what it is like to lead a team.

After shooting the video for our project, I plan to learn some new skills like video
editing and video shooting, because I realize how important video editing skill is, in
this era, video editing is like the most basic skill everyone must learn in order to catch
up with the pace of current generation.

I also hope to build a stronger relationship with my team mates in order to clear
any awkwardness we have when working together, in order to solve that problem I will
have to learn to be more sociable and approachable.
