This addendum modifies and/or supplements the lab exercises provided in the FortiGate IIStudent Guide,
released March 12, 2017.

Please note the following changes:

Effective Date Lab Modification

May 24, 2017 Lab 6: Intrusion Prevention In this procedure, students are asked to write the
System signature names of two detected attacks that were
not blocked.
Exercise 1: Blocking Known
Exploits Only one signature is now required, as the second
signature will take much longer than the 5 minutes
Procedure: To modify the IPS
stated to arrive.
Step: 3
For the remainder of this exercise, ignore mention of
