EPICON ZINC RICH PRIMER B-2


EPICON ZINC RICH PRIMER B-2, a two pack primer, based on the combination of metallic zinc, epoxy resin and hardener.
It dries quickly and gives adequate preliminary protection of steel after sand or shot blasting. This primer is completely
compatible with almost all type of coatings(except for oleoresinous paints, vinyl-based paints, and inorganic paints).

Notes 1.Agitate Base with a power agitator until it is turned homogeneous, and then combine entire contents of
Hardener with Base and mix thoroughly by a power agitator. Then add appropriate thinner and mix
thoroughly.

3. In case that (1) epoxy coating is overlapped on this product applied at the block end (200mm width in
general) or (2) epoxy coating is overcoated on this product applied at touch up at the damages, it is
recommended that overcoatable interval should be kept for more than 1 hour at 20 deg C.
4.Application at temperature down to -5C is possible, but curing time takes longer and full cure will be
reached when temperature increase.

CERABOND 2000
CERABOND 2000 is the combination of heat resistant alloy and heat resistant silicate solution producing an inorganic rust
preventive coat mechanically adhered to the steel and giving an effective and long term protection against corrosion without
suffering from blistering and loss of adhesion.
It is compatible with organic overcoatings as well as with inorganic overcoatings.
CERABOND 2000 is extremely resistant to heat (up to 800 degree ) and secondary surface preparation cost can be
decreased. It has excellent welding and cutting properties and presents no health hazard to the welder.
CERABOND 2000 has been approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping as shop primer which is suitable for welding.

Notes 1.Agitate Paste with a power agitator until it is turned homogeneous, and then combine entire contents
of Base with Paste and mix thoroughly by a power agitator. Then add appropriate thinner and mix
thoroughly.
2.Continue stirring slowly to avoid precipitate. Stirring for long time at high speed is not recommendable,
since it could cause fever, gel, viscosity build-up, etc.
3.Expected life for outdoor exposure (under normal conditions)
: about 6 months above DFT 15 microns.

5.Oleoresinous paint over CERABOND 2000 is not recommended if the substrate shall be located under
the conditions of high humidity or underwater.

if relative humidity becomes low. 50 - 90 %R.H. is recommendable condition.
10.For the PSPC use, please refer to PSPC's TDS. There are different recommendations(eg, Humidity:
Max 85%R.H.).
11.Density is measured from product samples without thinning. Values may vary depending on color,
manufacturing process, local regulations, etc.

NZ PRIMER S
NZ PRIMER S, based on the combination of epoxy resin, rust-preventive pigments and hardener, is quick
drying and gives adequate preliminary protection of blast-cleaned steel plates. It is compatible with almost
any type of priming coat (except for inorganic paints) and highly resistant to heat, oil, water and solvents.

RAVAX AC HB is a chlorinated rubber paint giving a high build quick drying, effective protection against corrosion. It
