motivated and passionate workers to self-select into cross-training opportunities,

Ladies and Gentleman,

To be a successful employee is not an easy to achieve. You should improve yourself

by adding up knowledge, skills so that you be an excellent in your work. Striving for
excellence is an important part of professionalism in any job. It involves trying to put

4
quality into everything you do, and this attitude tends to separate the achievers, who
make rapid strides in their career from others. Striving for excellence does not mean
that you must be perfect. It means that you use your talents, abilities, and skills in the
best way possible and get ahead of others by giving that little extra. Taking from what
Micheal Syed said that;

"Excellence is about stepping outside the comfort zone, training with a spirit
of endeavour, and accepting the inevitability of trials and tribulations.
Progress is built, in effect, upon the foundations of necessary failure.

As you know, most people want to do the best they can. But when is near
enough good enough and perfect too much? Actually, theres a big difference between
striving for excellence and striving for perfection. Striving for excellence can really
motivate and inspire you, while striving for perfection can be completely
demoralising. From a business perspective, it is also important that we dont get
dragged into the pursuit of perfection. By its nature, striving for perfection is a long-
term pursuit. The world is changing so rapidly that if you wait until everything is
perfect, your competitor will be way ahead of you and your customer has probably
gone somewhere else. When you strive for excellence, your customers will enjoy the
results of your continued improvement every day. Strive for perfection and you are at
risk of getting dragged down by the thought that no matter what you do, you will never
get there. Strive for excellence and every day you will see the results of your pursuits
as you focus on the incremental improvement you have achieved.

Be an excellent employee is tend to have some attitude like you will use any
initiative to act on opportunity. You become a leader before other people view you as
one. You should show a can do attitude even in demanding situations, you could try
to solve problems rather than to pass them on to other people. Whenever your superior
ask to do some task, your answer is yes and you going to make it happen. A positive,
can-do attitude is a real selling point for graduates. This doesn't have to be loud and
gregarious, more a quiet confidence, willing to work hard to achieve goals which
accord with the companys objectives. Pride in your own work and a desire to give of
your best will also go a long way.

5
As a new employee, you might get in to trouble and tend to do mistakes. But,
do not make it as your weakness. You should look at the failures as feedback that
provides you with the information you need to learn, grow, and succeed. Rather than
viewing failure in a negative way where we put ourselves down and think WE are a
failure, think of failure as a valuable learning experience. When you look at your
mistakes with a view to learning from them, rather than sending yourselves a negative
messages, you are on the path to success. You may be reluctant to try different things
because you are afraid of failing. Fear of failure does nothing but keep you in your
comfort zone where you stick with the familiar, the safe choices where you do not
risk another failure. Once you step out of your comfort zone, when you are willing
to try something new, which is when you take a step toward success. The only real
failure is not learning from our mistakes. The key to success is to look carefully at
what went wrong, change what we did the first time, and try again by applying what
we learned.

Working in a company or organization will have you to work with others as

well as a group. For the every task you are given from your colleague, you need to
take responsibility for your every actions. You should be responsible for your
thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. Own the choices you make and the results
that follow. When we take responsibility for our choices, others know they can count
on us and we earn their respect. If you tell a friend you will meet him at a certain time
but you are two hours late because you were hanging out with another friend, take
responsibility for your choice. Dont make up excuses like I couldnt help it Billy
just wouldnt let me go. Take ownership by saying, I was wrong not to meet you as
planned or call you when I realized Id be late. When we take ownership of
everything we do and say and stop blaming things outside ourselves for situations that
occur in our lives, we have greater control. You may not be able to control everything
that happens in your lives but you can control on how you respond to what happens.
By taking ownership of your actions, you may create a huge shift in your life.

6
Ladies and Gentleman,

Be mindful of yourself and others while focusing on what is meaningful and important
in your life. Inner happiness and fulfilment come when your mind, body, and emotions
are nurtured by the choices you make. When you are in a balance, you will make time
for the things that are important to you. Staying in balance is an ongoing process about
choices. We are constantly making choices about what we do, what we say, how we
feel, what we think, and so on. But, actually balance is not about rigidly devoting
equal time to everything that matters to us, and it is not about totally immersing
ourselves in one area of our lives to the exclusion of all others. Balance is about
considering everything that is meaningful and important to us when we make choices
about how we spend our time and energy. When we find the right balance we are
happy, healthy, productive, and fulfilled.

So, you guys, as a training manager, I wish that you can contribute more
benefits to this company, you should always be ready for everything that might come,
always be responsible, be compromising to other staff and colleague, be a respectful
employee. Whenever you have a problem with your work and task, do not hesitate to
ask help then you can decrease a chance of doing the same mistake. I wish you luck
guys!

Thank You.
