Greetings!

Engineering 422 (Methods of Research) is a course taken by all 4th year Bachelor of Science in
Civil Engineering (BSCE) students at Central Philippine University. The course requires students to
undertake a study on a project related to civil engineering. The course is geared towards the use of civil
engineering background in probable community development projects or industry research. Students
are grouped in threes with a civil engineering faculty adviser to undertake a study on the design of
civil engineering projects such as water supply system, public market, slaughterhouse, hospital,
highway, drainage system and others. The student members of the group are:

3. Charlmarie S. Guirjen

One of your priority project was approved for a project study proposal. The approved concept
paper is entitled, Proposed Three-Storey Red Cross Head office at Brgy. San Nicholas, Luna Street,
Lapaz, Iloilo City. Their scope of work may include any or all of the following: architectural and
structural design of an impound facility as well as specification, construction schedule, and provide
calculation of project cost and estimates.

On this regard, may we request access of students to any material and information relevant to
