Has it ever occurred to anyone to write a check using a negative amount?

Think about it, what is a negative amount when it comes to money? A DEBT, thats what.

Now, since you cannot pay a debt with a debt, what is a negative debt?

1000 (debt, which is a negative) + -1000 = 0 (settlement???)

In the conditioned world we live in, the math is just the opposite.

1000 (a debt / bill) + 1000 (another debt / the check) = 2000 (double the original debt).
Every time someone pays a debt with a debt instrument, the debt doubles.
