For a first time team, considering you try to make a reasonably good vehicle. The budget will go
on like this_(roughly)

Virtuals Registration: 22k

Main event: 40k

Most importantly engine: 75k

Chassis: 20 to 25k assuming firstimers have little over design problems.

Suspension: if you settle for good market price 1 to 1.5 lacs fox with student discount.

Power train: if manual transmission 30k

If CVT maybe 50k

Brakes ,knucles and steering assuming you use OEMS for first time : 40k

Other fabrication like welding, machining mounts etc: 25k

Body panel if done on aluminium: 40k

Spares and other miscellaneous: 20k

Transport: well we are from south so it took 50k to and fro

So total 5 to 6 lacs.

However the cost will come down in subsequent years but if you start building custom made
components like knuckles and steering column the budget will go up. Hope this helps.

For registration of virtual round it's Rs.25000/-

After qualifying virtuals there will be a second phase registration 35000/-

Engine with spare parts 55000/-

Rollcage pipes cost will depend on material 30000/- to 50000/-

Tires along with the rims cost varies from 30000/- to 60000/- with different brands like bkt,
Carlisle, polaris

Shock absorbers range from 20000/- to 100000/-

Steering equipment 5000/- to 15000/-

Braking equipment 20000/- to 30000/-

Transmission 25000/-

Transponder 10000/-

Electrical equipment(kill switches, brake light, battery etc) 8000/-

Fastners-3500/-

Body panels 5000/-

Hubs and knucklesyou can do it for 8000/- if you manufacture them otherwise is costs around
20000/-

Safety equipment - 1,50000

Transportation to indore 40,000/- if you share with other college to indore

Total 4.815 to 6.315 lakh rupees

It can further reduce it you rent safety equipment
