BHAGAVN
SVAYAM
The spotless pura, rmad-Bhgavatam establishes Lord Ka as the Supreme Personality of Godhead and
the principal subject matter of this book is Ka and His devotional service (SB 1.7.6). rmad-Bhgavatam
ardently recommends that whether one is desireless or full of desires or desirous of liberation, one should
worship the Supreme Lord Ka, who reciprocates with and protects such a person (SB 2.3.10).
Any place where the Supreme Personality of Godhead is present by His name,
form, qualities or paraphernalia immediately becomes a dhma. (10.2.17 P)

We should be careful to understand that to get Ka as one's son, one must undergo
such great austerities. If we want to get the Supreme Personality of Godhead to become

Some say that forms are made of the three modes of material
nature, and must therefore be temporary. Vysadeva answers
them in the words: tejo-vri-md yath vinimayo yatra tri-

Ka, the son of mother Yaod, is accessible to devotees engaged in spontaneous loving
service, but He is not as easily accessible to mental speculators, to those striving for self-
realization by severe austerities and penances, or to those who consider the body the same as
