a.1 Unitised Glazing (Vision+Spandrel) -Type-A
Design, fabricate, package, deliver (to Job site) and install structurally glazed Curtain wall system. Glass price
shall be quoted separately, The glass panels to be glazed to main frame with two part structural sealant of Dow
Corning DC983 or GE Silicon with Norton make double adhesive tape along with application of weather sealant
DC 789 or GE Silicon silpruf wherever applicable with all approved standard accessories and hardwares.
Silicone specifications are highlighted in the specifications manual. All aluminium extruded profiles shall be
confirming to alloy 6063 T6. All exposed aluminium profiles shall be Anodised/Powder coated as per approved
shade. The curtain wall shall be sealed to the host structure and not adjoining materials, with approved water
proofing membrane and insulation to prevent sound transmission. The unitised curtain wall system design is
pressure equalised and self draining. The System and glass shall be designed as per structural adequecy/ 1.56
kpa or as per IS 875 part 3 considering 5% openable . The anchoring / bracing of the curtain wall glazing to the
RCC slab / beams / columns shall be done with hot dip galvanized brackets of approved design, including
providing teflon shims of various thickness to adjust the level / line variations fixed with SS dash fasteners SQM 3,897.00 3,897.00
Hilti/Fischer make as per structural requirement / approved by FACET and to withstand the dead load of the
curtain walls as well as stresses due to wind pressure etc. Expansion joint gap (Stack Joints) for unitised panels
shall be minimum 15 to 20mm. Refer Glass Types on Concept drawings / Specifications / MOCK-UP.
Anchorage: Allow 3 dimensional movement in anchorage (bracket) design to absorb +/-25mm host structure
tolerances. All screws, bolts, nuts and washers used shall be only stainless steel of 304 grade. The contractor
must design the system as per the prevalent site conditions and building elevation profiles. No extra claims shall
be entertained at any stage for aluminium profile wall thickness and size dimensions once approved by
FACET/Architect. Quote in compliance with Concept Drawings and specifications noted herein including erection
& removal of scaffolding, cleaning the Facade. Rates also should include lab performance testing, site
performance testing, 40 Sq.m mockup prior to start the work.The Contractor must quote rates accordingly. All
prices to be inclusive of all Taxes, Statutory requirements, etc.

performance glass. The contractor shall be follow the conceptual system for rates. The glass panels will be
mechanically fixed to the aluminium main frame with alum beading from inside and frame shall fixed to steel /
conc with approved standard accessories. Silicone specifications are highlighted in the specifications manual.
All aluminium extruded profiles shall be confirming to alloy 6063 T6. All exposed Aluminium profiles shall be
anodized with a minimum thickness of 25 microns and shade shall be as per architect's approval. The window
shall be sealed to the host structure and not adjoining materials with approved water proofing membrane and

1.56 KPA at all levels, elevation & heights. The anchoring / bracing of the window system to the RCC slab /
beams / columns shall be done with non-corrosive galvanized brackets of approved design (80-90 micron
thickness) and including providing teflon shims of various thickness to adjust the beam level / line variations

b.3 Aluminium Frame door

Design, fabricate, package, deliver (to Job site) and install aluminium frame door comprising 6mm thk high
performance glass. The contractor shall be follow the conceptual system for rates. The glass panels will be
mechanically fixed to the aluminium main frame with alum beading from inside and frame shall fixed to steel /
conc with approved standard accessories. Silicone specifications are highlighted in the specifications manual.
All aluminium extruded profiles shall be confirming to alloy 6063 T6. All exposed Aluminium profiles shall be
anodized with a minimum thickness of 25 microns and shade shall be as per architect's approval. The window
shall be sealed to the host structure and not adjoining materials with approved water proofing membrane and

1.56 KPA at all levels, elevation & heights. The anchoring / bracing of the window system to the RCC slab /

f.1 System provided by the contractor has to be approved by the façade consultant . If the system is already tested
in the laboratory, proper testing certificates are required to be submitted and approved by the façade consultant.
If not tested ,the system has to be tested at any certified laboratory (Indian/Overseas)in presence of facade
consultant.
f.2 Test certificates for all accessories like screws, anchor bolts, silicon sealant, EPDM Gaskets etc must be
provided

f.3 Dow Corning representatives has to perform deglazing test on the glazing unit of selected contractor

f.4 Anchor bolt pull out test has to be carried out on site before starting the installation.

f.5 Mock installed by the awarded contractor need to be approved from the facade consultant before carrying out
the installation. The mock up will be a permant mock up based on the grid/reference point.

f.6 PVDF coating has to be tested at the factory of the coaters in presence of façade consultant

f.7 The processing unit of the glass processor will be inspected by the client/ façade consultant before starting the
