ACTIVITIES
1ST PART
In this writing lesson, you and your partners have to create a funny story about last
weekend "A Funny weekend". After reading the beginning of the story, students can try to
continue it, taking into account the following information:

1. First paragraph: what did their mom find in her bag?


2. Second paragraph: doing shopping
3. Third paragraph: a big surprise
4. Fourth paragraph: thieves VS heros
5. Final paragraph: watching news at home

This is the beginning of your funny story:

Last weekend something really funny happened. It was Saturday morning, and my
sister and I were getting ready to go to the grocery store with my mother. When we
were almost ready, my mother suddenly stopped

2nd PART
You have to design a presentation about your story using the application PowToon
(www.powtoon.com) or as an alternative you can use a Power Point Presentation. In the
final version of your group, you must take into account the requirements mentioned per
paragraph.

TO HAVE IN MIND

To write your story, you will use relative clauses who/that/which as a grammatical
requirements. To get a visible evidence of the use of this grammatical topics, you
will highlight all words and expressions related to those ones.
Paragraphs must be complete and include at least 5 ideas (sentences) each one.
Proof read your writing drafts and share them in the Forum at the collaborative
learning environment, you will receive invaluable feedback from your peers and
tutor
