Job Description

The Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking an engaging, friendly and detail oriented Front
Office Manager. This individual will be directly responsible for the front desk and night
audit teams, with a focus on guest and associate satisfaction. Ideal candidates will be driven
and focused on driving guest satisfaction and leading and developing our associates.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and execute innovative front office strategies that will drive the hotel to exceed
guest satisfaction and revenues.

Ensures front office staff and management are properly trained to standards and able to
carry out the operations of each department.

Ensure that all complaints regarding service and/or accommodations are investigated and
resolved.

Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that
expenditures are authorized and budgeted.

Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service,
performance, or safety.

Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new
staff, and evaluate employee performance.
Provide Leadership / Mentoring to Front Office Team.

Maintain complete knowledge of: all hotel features and services, all room types, rates,
special package and promotions, daily arrivals / departures / room availability, scheduled
in-house group activities.

Review and respond to daily operational demands as it relates to the hotel.

Monitor security of public areas of the hotel.

Establish par levels for supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Hilton systems knowledge strongly encouraged

Highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills

Experience making presentations in front of groups

Minimum Qualifications

2 or more years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory


experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience
For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying
will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC)
and Firearms Authorized Training.
Will successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments.
Additional Preferred Qualifications

2 or more years general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include
the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
