2. DESCRIPCIN DE LA ASIGNATURA

El conocer un idioma nos permite incrementar nuestro bagaje cultural, ampliar

nuevos horizontes, acceder a otras fuentes de informacin, obtener mejores
puestos de trabajo.
El curso de Ingls est destinado a asegurar el dominio del Ingls tanto
escrito como oral conociendo su estructura y funcionamiento. Ingls V
involucra el desarrollo de la comprensin de mensajes escritos y orales y
enfatiza la correcta produccin de los mismos, incorporando el estudio de los
aspectos estructurales necesarios para tal fin a un Nivel Elemental de Ingls
(Elementary English level).

3. OBJETIVOS

OBJETIVOS GENERALES
Al finalizar el semestre los alumnos sern capaces de:
1. Valorar la riqueza del idioma ingls como herramienta til en su vida
cotidiana y para su carrera profesional.
2. Asumir un comportamiento prctico frente al uso del idioma ingls.

3. Desenvolverse en situaciones comunicativas a un nivel elemental de

ingls, comprensin oral y escrita.
4. Manejar un vocabulario bsico

OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS
1. Making offers and predictions in the elementary spoken language.
2. Asking and answering questions about future arrangements in
the elementary spoken language.
3. Making decisions to improve the environment in the
elementary spoken language.
4. Giving advice in the elementary spoken language.
5. Making comparisons about people and things in the elementary
spoken language.
6. Asking and answering questions about where people were in
the elementary spoken language.
7. Writing a review describing an interesting movie or TV show in the
elementary spoken language.
8. Talking about past events in the elementary English language.

SEMANA 1:
Unit 4: (p. 47-49)
Introduction. Review Future with will / wont. Giving advice using
always/ never with imperatives. Dialogue. Role Play. Possessive
pronounsto talk about possessions. Grammar exercise.
SEMANA 2:
Unit 4: (p. 50-53)
Writing rules with will. Rewrite the rules with an imperative
and with should. Reading comprehension. Write a paragraph
about places of interest to visit in Lima or other region. Grammar
exercise.

SEMANA 3:
Unit 4: (p. 54-56)
Grammar check. Students will write crazy excuses in groups.
Students will write a dialogue about a visit to a fortune teller.
Role Play. Students evaluate their achievements inHow good are

Students write sentences with too or notenough. Reading

Quantifiers: a lot of / lots of, plenty of, a few, a little, many,
much. Countable and uncountable nouns. Listening comprehension.
Grammar exercise.

SEMANA 15:
Unit 7: (p. 84-87)
Past simple of irregular verbs: affirmative. Students write about
a special past event. Reading and listening. Past simple of irregular
verbs: negative and questions. Dialogue. Roleplay.Grammar exercise.

5. METODOLOGA

El profesor har la presentacin introductoria del curso y del Slabo

propiamente dicho. El profesor promover el dilogo constante con los
alumnos para ayudar a que fijen y profundicen mejor los conocimientos que
vayan adquiriendo.

En todo momento resaltar la importancia y necesidad de su

participacin espontnea en el curso y que no slo deben conocer,
sino profundizar los diferentes temas tratados.

Se combinarn los siguientes elementos:

- Exposicin-dilogo
- Induccin, deduccin, correlacin, organizacin,
clasificacin y socializacin.
- Ejercicios individuales, en pares y/o grupales de
aplicacin.
- Participacin activa de los alumnos en intervenciones
orales.
- Role play de dilogos utilizando diversas situaciones.
- Investigacin de un tema especfico para hacer un
trabajo en clase utilizando Internet.
- Asesoras.

6. EVALUACIN

El reglamento vigente de la universidad exige la asistencia obligatoria a clases

y que el profesor pase lista de asistencia en cada clase que dicta, anotando
las inasistencias en el registro que le proporciona la Universidad.

Dada la naturaleza del curso respecto a que imparte conocimientos pero

adems es de suma importancia la transmisin directa de la experiencia del
profesor y que los alumnos participen activamente en el aula, se reitera que es
de vital importancia la asistencia a clases.

La justificacin de las inasistencias slo ser aceptada con el informe que

pueda elevar, el Departamento de Bienestar Universitario, al profesor del curso
con copia al Director Acadmico de la Carrera.

Finalmente, debe quedar perfectamente entendido que slo cuando el alumno

asiste a clases, gana el derecho de ser evaluado y que en todo momento
estar presente la normatividad expresada en el reglamento de la Universidad.

La modalidad de Evaluacin sera la siguiente:

Promedio de Prcticas Calificadas (PPC), que consisten en

Ejercicios dados por el profesor del curso al alumno para que haga
investigacin sobre los temas y las responda utilizando la forma de
Hojas Escritas.

Examen Parcial (EP), que consiste de una evaluacin terico -

prctico de conocimiento y donde el alumno dar sus respuestas por
escrito.

Examen Final (EF), que consiste en la evaluacin terico - prctico

de conocimiento de todo el curso y donde el alumno dar sus
respuestas por escrito.

Tarea Acadmica (TA), que consiste en trabajos del curso asignados

por el docente y que fomenten la investigacin en la materia del
curso.

La Nota Final (NF) la obtenemos de la siguiente manera:

Examen Sustitutorio (ES), que consiste en la evaluacin terico -

prctico de conocimiento de todo el curso y donde el alumno dar
sus respuestas por escrito.

La nota obtenida en el examen sustitutorio, podr reemplazar la nota ms

baja que el alumno haya obtenido en su Examen Parcial o en el Examen
Final y de proceder el reemplazo, se recalcular la nueva nota final.

En caso la nota del Examen Sustitutorio sea ms baja que la nota ms baja
del Examen Parcial o del Examen final, no se reemplazar ninguna de ellas,
quedando el alumno con la nota obtenida hasta antes del examen
Sustitutorio.

Es de total aplicacin el Reglamento Transitorio de Evaluacin de la

Universidad entregado al alumno.

7. BIBLIOGRAFA

Adems de la bibliografa bsica, la complementaria y la electrnica, el alumno

tendr acceso al uso del Internet para investigar.
