1.1 Purpose of the Operation
Dehub and Migrate Sites from E1 to FE transmission

1.2 The General Guidelines of Operation

1. Always start dehubbing and Migration of the leaf site and then move toward the Hub site.
2. For any site always start migration activities on the 2G node, before we start 3G.

1.2.1 Preparation Step

Transmission information, STD, MTX mapping, new NodeB configuration file, RNC script,
CX600 configuration, UTRP9 card, FE port, Ping test need to be confirmed

1.2.2 Implementation Step

1) Collect the alarm information in the RNC before operation.
a) Through BSC alarm query in M2000 client.
b) By alarm browser in BSC Web LMT.
i. Use MML command EXPALMLOG;
2) Backup the database of the RNC by MML command in BSC LMT: BKP DB;
3) Backup the RNC configuration file by MML command EXP CFGMML;
4) Backup NodeB configuration file through M2000
5) Obtain NodeB ESN by DSP BRDMFRINFO; on NodeB and configure NodeB
DHCP through M2000
6) Configure UTRP and necessary configuration to ping CX-600 IPs
a) ADD BRD
b) SET SUBBRD, subboard is UQEC
c) ADD DEVIP
d) ADD IPRT
e) ADD VLANMAP
f) PING
7) Download NodeB new data configuration from M2000 to NodeB then enable the
configuration file by SET CFGFILEENB (Enable Flag to ENABLE, Reset Mode to
IMMEDIATE)
1.2.3 Service Impact
1.2.3.1 Impacts during operation
NodeB will temporarily reset
Coverage impacting

1.2.3.2 Impacts post operation

M2000 function status: Normal
Impacts on basic features on current network: None
Impacts on alarms: None
Impacts on Core Network: None

1.2.4 Verification
1) Collect alarm status at NodeB and RNC
2) Verify control plane and user plane of IuB interface at RNC LMT
a) DSP SCTPLNK
b) DSP IUBCP
c) DSP ADJNODE
d) DSP IPPATH
e) DSP UCELL
3) System management check at NodeB LMT
a) DSP LICENSE
b) DSP ABNORMAL
c) DSP BRD
d) DSP LOCELL
e) LST ALMAF
4) Optional if Field engineer is present on the site
a) Perform Voice call, SMS, and MMS service
b) Verify the PS Call
5) Inform RF/Performance team to continue monitoring the KPI in the next day
1.2.5 Fall Back Plan
Execute fallback script and use backup configuration file for NodeB
