Its my absolute pleasure to recommend Rachelle Kurrle for an elementary teaching position within your
school district. Rachelle and I met in the fall of 2015 at Woodland Elementary School, part of the Avondale
School District. Rachelle was a student intern in my kindergarten classroom for the beginning months of the
school year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Rachelle, and came to know her as a truly valuable asset to
absolutely any team. She continued to prove her value each day that she walked through our classroom door.
Rachelle had a smile on her face and showed her unwavering determination to be at her best at all times. She
is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working.

Right away it was clear to see Rachelles greatest strengths. Rachelle stepped up to the challenge of working
with 29 students in a small space, including students with difficult behavior and special needs. Rachelle
understood that the greatest part of teaching is building relationships with all students. She specifically made
a connection with a student that had several behavioral and emotional challenges. As her time with this
student went on, I saw a change in him for the better. Rachelle had a knack for knowing how to foster these
relationships but at the same time set high expectations for learning and management, thus bringing out the
best in each student. Another great strength of Rachelles is her classroom management skills. She is
organized, clear and concise in her teaching. The students learned exactly what she wanted to see from them,
and they were glad to rise to those expectations.

Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Rachelle to join your team. As a dedicated and knowledgeable
employee and an all-around great person, I know that she will be a great asset to youre educational program.
