Boston Consulting Group.

Dear Boston Consulting Group,

I am writing this letter to apply for a position (consulting careers). I know this opportunity from Boston
Consulting Group (BCG) Malaysia seminar and acquaintance that has work at BCG Indonesia. I am currently
graduating as Mechanical Engineering (ME) at Monash University Malaysia.

BCG is well known as one of the top business consultant group. I believed through my past experience I can
contribute to your company. My past experience includes increasing profit obtained from CV. Widodo karpet
talang. It is interesting since there is a lot of method that can be used to increase profit, for example reducing
cost, changing to automation and increasing sale. During my internship at this company I re-construct raw
materials mixture and reduced machinery error. Besides that, during my past experience on PT. IVES, leading
project needs a proper base, for example, quality analysis, time taken to produce the product and time taken to
learn specific skills.

I heard a lot of question why did you go to business consulting company when youre taking Mechanical
Engineering (ME) as your studies? The reason to this question is because both business and machinery has no
exact solutions, there is various solutions and it depend on which action to take. Besides that, my parents plant
business mind to me by teaching me how to play monopoly and giving me a choice car, house or company
comes first?

I am confident that I can offer you the skills in understanding complex businesses and problem skills that you
are seeking. Thank you for your time, I am looking forward to hear from you again.

Sincerely,

Hendra Kurniawan
