The study of law, as seen by many, is a training, or rather a preparation for something big in the
most realistic world. Not only do men think as such but they are also under the belief that this is
somewhat a key to an exclusive salvation. Nevertheless, the higher truth would suggest that law
is something more than a field of study or a shortcut from living a dream but rather a journey for
the chosen ones. Those who are willing to take enormous sacrifices in every way possible in
order to satisfy the demand of the mission. Law does not limit itself in reflecting the intellect of a
man but it also extends to measure the keenness of those who delve into it. The journey is never
expected to be an easy one but at the end of it, honor awaits. The art of studying of law will tear
a mans mental and emotional being leading to what is commonly called humility. As I have
made mentioned, law is not always a test of intellect. There will be times that the universe will
conspire to bring you down to the concrete no matter what kind of intelligence you possess for
the purpose of teaching you a very vital and inevitable lesson. Even so, man who has a heart for
the law would adapt to such a kind of environment with ease and would even see it as a beautiful
process of gaining a certain form of rare knowledge as we are heavily intoxicated by our dreams
of unraveling the secrets of law.
Law is a jealous mistress. It demands time. It begs for attention. It requires sacrifices. It begs to
differ from all other field existing and known to man. It can only be accomplished by exhausting
all the fuel left from a mans reserve. Love is a very strange and subjective concept but it
actually exist in law. The love for the law is transformed to a victory not by accomplishing it but
the acquisition of pleasure innate in it for every word that has been read and written. The
pleasure is the way of knowing that it is my destiny to stretch my reason for the love of law. It is
the realization that this is the calling from the higher one/s.
I see law as an abstract. An abstract that is full of web like a strain of different universe unknown
to others. The reason it is too dim to be noticed by the idle is the distance between reality and
dreams: action. An idle man does not take action to reach its fullest capacity in order to
comprehend the meaning of the law. The dilemma of waking up and continuing to sleep hinders
his passion from sparking and starting a fire. A man who has a heart for the law has already
established a certain kind of understanding for the law in a much more different aspect because
he neither wakes up nor sleeps but he constantly tries to resolve every doubt from his mind and
interpret the ideas that the law has formulated. Despite every beauty in the law, it is not always
pleasure per se. Pain is inevitable. The study of law will never be completed without the
infliction of pain. Likewise, a man who wishes to understand the law will not succeed without
feeling pain. Pain will not be felt neither by the mind nor the body but by the heart. A conviction
upon a mans heart is created from all the torment leaving him under the impression that the
toughest battle is yet to come. Law is a never ending process. It constantly revolves around our
life. Suffice to say, learning the law also never ends. There is no pinnacle where you sit on top
and say that you have mastered it all. The highest form of knowledge in law cannot be attained
by man for it would be detrimental to the definition of perfection. We study law not because we
want to be the highest person in existence but to be fair fighters initially creating equilibrium in
the scale of justice and having in mind that the law is higher than any living creature. After all,
we are who we choose to be.
