Academic Project (Diploma):

Project Title: Beverage Vending Machine Controller for Domestic Applications
From a lot of types of vending machines, our project aims to introduce a new vending
machine that provides 2 flavours of beverages.
It has simple elecrical control mechanism that ensures accuracy and functionality of the
machine. The machine uses higher technology than other vending machines, cheaper
components and developed system.

Mini Project: Automatic Plant Irrigation System
The project I have undertaken is Automatic Plant Irrigation System. This project is taken up
as india is an agriculture oriented country and the rate at which water resources are depleting
is a dangerous threat hence there is a need of smart and efficient way of irrigation. In this
project i have implemented sensors which detect the humidity in the soil (agricultural field)
and supply water to the field which has water requirement. The project is microcontroller
based design which controls the water supply and the field to be irrigated.
There are sensors present in each field which are not activated till water is present on the
field. Once the field gets dry sensors sense the requirement till the sensors is deactivated
again. In case when there is more than one signal for water requirement then the
microcontroller will prioritize the first received signal and irrigate the fields accordingly.
 Major Project: RFID and GSM based Bank Security System
Our prototype system consists of a microcontroller, RFID reader, GSM modem,and LCD. The
RFID reader reads the Id number from a passive RFID tag and sends it to the microcontroller
where it checks whether it belongs to a valid person or not (from stored data in memory of
microcontroller). If the Id number is valid, then microcontroller sends an SMS with details of
the activity. The user then enters the same password through the registered mobile to the
base GSM Sim. If the password matches with the stored password in memory of
microcontroller (if the person at the locker site possesses the authorized mobile phone), the
locker opens and the user is provided access. However, if the passwords do not match (in case
the mobile or the RFID tag is stolen), the locker remains shut. This system can also create a
log containing check-in and checkout of each user along with basic information of user.
