Greetings Ken Storlazzi!

My name is Brittanie and I have recently moved to North Chelmsford from Kalamazoo, MI. I am an
actor but have taken the fall o to recover from knee surgery. I would love to join the Chelmsford
team as a substitute teacher!

A little about myself: In the spring, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.F.A. in Music
Theatre Performance and studies in Management. Most recently, I worked this summer at the Barn
Theatre in Augusta, MI where I acted in their resident company as well as served as assistant the
Executive Director in the publicity oce.

I have plenty of experience working with kids and young adults. In addition to teaching at Excel Dance
Center this year, I spent three years working at Curious Kids, a daycare in Southwest Michigan that
provides summer programs and before/after school to over 10 public schools in the Portage-
Kalamazoo area. Working at both of these locations has taught me to stay positive in challenging
situations, how to interact with kids of all ages, and how to successfully communicate with parents.

Kids these days are so intelligent. Sometimes I learn more from them than I could ever teach them;
but working with them and being a positive example is extremely important to me, and I would love
to become a part of your team!
