On behalf of Kheir Centers Board of Directors and the tens of thousands of patients and clients we serve annually, we ask for your
support of our31st Anniversary Fundraising Dinner onOctober 12, 2017 at theJW Marriott at L.A. LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles.

With health care for vulnerable communities in danger, we need your help now more than ever. Under the Affordable Care Acts
(ACA) expansion of Medi-Cal and the creation of new programs for low-income patients, underserved individuals and families
have greater access tohealth care than ever before. In 2016, 74% of Kheir's patients were Medi-Cal recipients, many of whom
could lose all health coverage if the ACA were repealed.Such a losscould be life-threatening for these patients, who rely on Medi-
Cal for daily insulin injections, monthly prenatal visits,annual cancer screenings, immunizations for their children, and countless
othercritical benefits.

Kheir's comprehensive health centersnow have the capacity to provide more than 75,000 annual visits, offeringa wide range of
high-quality integrated services, including physicals,pediatric exams, digital mammograms & x-rays,chronic disease
management, family planning sessions,prenatal & postnatal care, mental health consultations and more, all in English, Spanish
and Korean. In addition, Kheir now offers much-needed dental care and optometry, and our team is implementing innovative new
methods for promoting quality improvement and better health outcomes for chronically ill patients.

Access to affordable, comprehensive health care makes our community stronger, and we will continue to provide care to all
patients, regardless of socioeconomic or citizenship status. While Kheir receives program & contract funding, we rely on your
sponsorship to subsidize the significant ongoing cost of providing services for patients with extensive health needs, and to ensure
that all members of our community have access to care during this time of uncertainty in our industry. We have a table reserved for
