Management and Project Control industry. He has 8 international certifications, Planning and Scheduling
Professional (AACE PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP PMI), Decision and Risk Management
Professional (AACE DRMP), Cost Estimating Professional (AACE CEP), Certified Construction Manager
Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), FAACE, FGPC, and FRICS. Chris Carson is
currently Corporate Director of Program and Project Control for ARCADIS USA (Engineering and Construction
Management Company with more than 125 years of experience, Arcadis ranks among the Top 5 Program
Management firms in the world, operating on 5 continents); also Chris is currently Vice President of Finance for
AACE USA, and Chief Editor - Americas & Guild of Project Controls Senator. Chris served as the Managing
Director of PMI USA's Scheduling Excellence Initiative and PMI's Vice President of Scheduling Excellence, among
other important roles. Chris has more than 12 major publications that have impacted project management,
including "The Ten Best Project Management Approaches to Avoid Claims" (published by AACE in September
2016), "Soft Skills are Vital for Effective Project Controls" By AACE in March 2015), "Best Practices and
