I wish you a very happy 70th Pakistan Independence Day. This year is a very special one for each and
every Pakistanis around the globe. So far, year2017 has gifted us two historic celebrations.
1. Winning the ICC Cricket Championship Trophy in England in which Pakistani Shaheen thrashed
India and winning it very handsomely;
2. The first time in the Pakistan's 70 years history, the supreme court of Pakistan declared a very
brave decision by disqualifying a sitting Prime Minister of Pakistan.
If think analytically, the first celebration is for each and every Pakistani but the second one quite honestly
is not for everyone though. No wonder since then lots of political unrest is developing. God Bless us!
However, as a humble Pakistani, I see these as great achievements but don't know why my heart is still
saying that "battle may be over but war is still on". Without any doubt, I believe that there is still a lot to
do to clean up Pakistan from the corrupt leaders, corruption and the fake mullahs. It is rather sad to say
that, in the last 20 to 30 years these elements have changed the total landscape of Pakistan.
For tomorrow's Pakistan ki baqa aur salmiayat kay liye zarrori hay kay hamara judicial system
continuously play a brave part, not just stop there! As Martin Luther King Jr., once said, "Law and order
exist for the purpose of establishing justice and when they fail in this purpose they become the
dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress". So keep it up!
Even though Pakistan is a democratic country but it is sad to see that no one single prime minister ever
completed its full term in our beloved country. Is it a coincidence or tradition? We are yet to find the
answer. Therefore, consequently, a number of other countries, have moved forward and left us far
behind but I am still very optimistic that if the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan managed to get
the right leadership, we will progress in no time.
Somehow I get some peace of mind when I see that despite all these misshapes, Pakistan is progressing
and has progressed since its inception on August 14, 1947, seventy years ago. Pakistan has everything
including, rich resources, talents and "youth under the age of 25 constitute 63% of total population", thus
Pakistan doesn't need to spread its hands before others. Pakistan eik jazbey, janoon aur himmat ka naam
hay so keep it up that way.
Last but not least, Pakistan is a small country but it is distinguished and it will remain so. INSHALLAH
