MY FUNCTION STORY (by groups of 3)
allotted time: 4 periods (Wed, Thurs)
Instructions:
Adapt or create a short story.
The short story should involve questions/problems related
to functions. It should have AT LEAST 6 problem solving
questions.
breakdown of problem solving questions: 1 linear,
1 quadratic, 2 piece-wise, 2 rational (equations)
The students must also provide solutions and answers to
the questions that they made. The problem and solution
must be on the same page of the story book.
The story must contain moral values and must be
entertaining at the same time.
Use keynote in making the function story.
You may download pictures from the internet.
**Note:
The word problems dont have to be complicated or
difficult to answer.
Describe your variables. (Ex. F is the function of the total
cost of the laundry service, and x represents the weight
of the laundry in kilograms.)
