INTRODUCTION
This report has the aim to give evidence about the tie ins to carry out for the scope of Mitigation plan at
Wafa Field

1. Tie-in #001 on line 20-130-036-RG-20-CA731-Z between the check valve RC036A and the ball valve 036A
to reroute the Satellite NG2 gas production from the Gas Header to the LP Gas Slug Catcher via 20 new
line; (P&ID: J-52-D-O-1013-01 sheet 3);
2. Tie-in #002 on line 20-130-062-RG-36-CA731-Z downstream of ball valve RB062A to connect the 20
new line from Satellite NG2 to the LP Gas Slug Catcher; (P&ID:J-52-D-O-1013-02 sheet 1);
3. Tie-in #003 between RB071A and the outlet nozzle of Gas Slug Catcher OVHD Separator 20-130-VZ-002,
relocating the above item to provide sufficient space to reroute gas outlet via new 20 line. (P&ID: J-52-D-
O-1013-02 sheet 1);
4. Tie-in #004 on line 20-130-072-RG-12-CA602-Z to provide blow down line for LP slug Catcher. (P&ID: J-
52-D-O-1013-02 sheet 1);
5. Tie-in #005 between the manual ball valve RB002A and the SDV010 in order to connect the new 20 line
from 20-130-VZ-002 to the LP Slug Catcher K.O Drums 10-300-VA-002 (P&ID J-53-D-O-1030-01);
6. Tie-in #006 to connect new 20 line to Off-gas compressor Filter inlet (P&ID J-53-DO-1036-14 sh.1); as
requested by MOG comment #8 received through Letter LT/MOG/BNT/050/015 dated 7th May 2015, Off-
gas sparing on oil train shall be guaranteed by the system reversibility. In case of off-gas compressor fail on
oil train, the other compressor shall be reverted as spare for the oil train in order to allow the oil
production. So, all piping from Tie-in 360-003 (P&ID 3426-360-J-FMBNT- 00009) to SDV (detail 1 of
Attachment 2) will be provided in rating 600#, instead 300#, in order to guarantee the above point;
7. Tie-in #007 on Off-gas compressor filter outlet and installation of new 20 line to offgas compressor Unit
A inlet (P&ID J-53-D-O-1036-14 sh.1);
8. Tie-in #008 on line 10-361-010-RG-26-AA601-Z to connect new 20 line from filter outlet to off-gas
compressor unit A inlet (P&ID J-53-D-O-1036-14 sh.2);
9. Tie-in #009 on line 10-361-076-RG-20-CA602-I and installation of a new 12 line from off-gas
compressor unit A outlet (P&ID J-53-D-O-1036-14 sh.2) to Raw Gas both Treatment Train 1 & 2 (P&ID 3426-
360-J-FM-BNT-00010).
10. Verification for space to insert new PSV line N 10-361-001-RG-24-AA601-Z between 10-361-PV-008
and manual VB downstream;
11. Verification for space to insert new PSV line N 10-361-017-RG-12-AA601-I between 10-361-PV-002
and manual VB downstream;

NOTE: Tie-in #360-003 (P&ID 3426-360-J-FM-BNT-00009 sh.1) of a Tee 30x20 and of a new 20 line to
existing off-gas compressor filters 10-361-CL-001A has not been found, the site require more info or piping
plot of the area.

The TP is flanged from 1 side and to be welded on the other side and is not presenting particular problem
of space or execution. The recommendation is to evaluate a possibility to do an hottapping with the use of
split tee.

TIE IN 05
The TP is flanged and considering the overall length of new flanged tee, need to optimize with the space,
result much complicate to move south side all the entire block of the piping configuration; the suggested
solution is to modify or remove totally the spool between SDV 010 and SDV 11 (if for process is ok); in case
of possibility of this modification, it is needed to verify the possibility to turn 45 or 90 both actuators in
order to avoid contact.

For Both Tie ins is highly suggested to prefabricate entire spools with the same dimension with the
application of the additional tees for the 2 new 20 lines. In this case we have only flanged tie ins.

TIE IN 09
For the Tie in we have problem of space because of the existing cable trays running closely on the top of
existing pipe. Therefore the position indicated on piping arrangement is not applicable, and its suggested
to apply a tee closed to the checK valve on the top of grid structure ant El.BL +14000 (highlighted with
cloudy). Its required a dimensional check and new route and expansion loop system.
