Professional Overview
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world - Nelson Mandela
I am an internationally-experienced educator and developer with broad expertise in computer science and
mathematics education. With my technical background and the emphasis of my Ph.D. on teachers and technology, my
goal is to make a significant contribution to mathematics education through the innovative use of technologies.
Throughout my tertiary education and professional experience, I have become skilled at a range of programming
languages, development methodologies, and environments. The latter-day focus of my career has been on
understanding the macro-level challenges of our educational paradigm and Western thought, as well as the micro-
level, nuanced practicalities that our teachers and students face daily. During this time, I continued to stay abreast of
new technologies, platforms, and languages, specifically mobile technologies and free, scalable resources as shown in
my dissertation study.
