SUMMARY COAL CRUSHING AND COAL SAMPLING

1.COAL CRUSHING
Coal crusher effect is greater than the required particle size of the raw coal in coal
crushed to meet particle size requirements. The operating principle different from the crusher
body, a rotor, breaker plate, sieve, a motor, a fluid coupling and other components.
Before coal enter to the crusher, the coal must pass through by roller screen. Acting
roller screen is to separate the raw coal in the coal particle diameter in line with out directly
into the delivery system at stage, the material on the sieve is crushed into the crusher.

2. SAMPLING
Most raw materials and manufactured products are sampled by some method for
purpose of quality control. Wine and coffee are sip-tasted while automobiles are driven on
test tracks. Our area of interest lies in the extraction of samples of material being transported
by conveyor belts, chutes, launders or flumes, vibratory feeders, pipeline, trucks or trains. A
representative sample is where every particle in the lot being sampled is equiaaly represented.
The procurement of a sample from a meterial stream is analogous to the stream of tap water.
As the glass moves from right to left at a fixed rate of speed, a sample is left in the glass. This
is a representative sample of the conveyed or moving product which we are trying to obtain.

Accurate and repeatable sampling of materials is dependent upon the following


criteria:
1. the devices which moves through the material stream (a sample cutter) should have an
opening which is adequately sized. This cutter opening should be at least three times the
maximum particle size.
2. the sample cutter, at its rest or idle position, must be completely out of the material
stream.
3. when the initiated manually, by a timer, or by other means, the sample cutter will start
from its
rest position and move through the material stream at a predetermined, fixed rate of
speed.
4. this traverse speed or cutter speed must be limited so that screening or segregation does
not
take place as the sample cutter moves through the stream. If the cutter speed is too fast,
it is entirely possible that segregation will occur.
In mabar power station we have three sampling device in two section area. One is put
in coal station number 1 there is after coal unloading from jetty. and two others is put in coal
station in conveyor 6, there is after coal yard before enter to the coal bunker in the boiler.

AVOID LOSSES

DROPPING :

In this case, maybe in cursher we just controling and monitoring how much rock in the coal
hide. Cause we know, rock can demage our crusher and the second chance monitoring our pipe there
is no leakage or not cause we dont know the matter of pipe life time.

BURNED :

Sometimes is difficult to say the coal will self burning in this system because I think in
screener or crushing there no enough of O2 to make triangle fire. In sampling room and the near
screener and crushing we install hydrant so if any fire we can used it.
