PROJECT WORK
TITLE: Partial Replacement of Shabath Stone as a Course aggregate in concrete.
DESCRIPTION: The main objective of this project is to study the compressive strength characteristics of
concrete by partial replacement of Shabath stone. The workability of fresh concrete mixes was evaluated
using the slump test while compressive strength of concrete cubes was evaluated at 7, 14 and 28 days. The
replacement of cuddapah stone is carried out from 10, 20, 30 and 40%. Test results indicate that the
replacement of coarse aggregate by 20% have attain a good strength, the test results of 30 and 40%
replacement have been decreased compare to 20%. Hence replacement of cuddapah stone by 20% is
effective.
