2 Translate into Tamil.

Some students were on a school trip, climbing a mountain which was a short train ride from their
town. Each of the students was carrying a packed lunch and water bottle in their school bag. They
had set off early to avoid the heat later in the day.

There were several difficult parts where the paths were rocky and uneven. Some of the students
carried their classmates bags while they climbed carefully.

As the sun came up, the day got hotter and the climb got harder. The students became tired and
found it difficult to concentrate on the climb. By this stage, many had drunk more than half of their
water, and were starting to worry about how they would manage the descent. But after a short
time, they found themselves at the top of the mountain, overlooking valleys and rivers all around
them. Sitting down for a rest, the students chatted and laughed, shared their food and drink, and
took photos. Half an hour later, they began the downward journey.
