General Observation

2.1. History of Kimia Farma Pharmacy 122 Ahmad Yani

History of PT. Kimia Farma (Persero), can not be separated from the
journey of the nation and especially the development of pharmaceutical
world in Indonesia. After the proclamation of 17 August 1945, Dutch
private companies still operate in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
Based on the decree of the central war ruler No.Kpb / Perpu / 0348/1958
and SK Menkes No. 58041 / Kab / 1958 then formed BAPPHAR (Central
Agency for the Consolidation of Pharmaceutical Companies of The
Netherlands). In addition BAPIT (Central Agency of Industrial Control
and Mining Department of Industry) also received several Dutch
companies.

Kimia Farma is a pioneer in the pharmaceutical industry of Indonesia.

The first pioneer of Kimia Farma is NV (Naamlze Vennootschaap)
Pharmaceutiche Handel Ratcham and Co. which was established in 1917
along with several other companies merged into SPC (State
Pharmaceutical Company) Bhineka Kimia Farma. Subsequently on August
16, 1971, his legal form became PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) and on July 4,
2001 Persero has been listed as a public company in Jakarta stock
exchange and Surabaya stock exchange. PT. Kimia Farma Pharmacy is a
subsidiary formed by Kimia Farma..

Armed with the experience of tens of years and the reputation of

quality, Kimia Farma has grown into a major healthcare company in
Indonesia which is increasingly playing a key role in the development and
development of the nation and society especially in the field of health.
Kimia Farma Pharmacy first time named Radja Farma, from year to year
Radja Farma success until bergnti name to Pharmacy Kimia Farma. In
Pekanbaru own Apotek Kimia Farma first established in 1995 or also
called Business Unit Manager Pekanbaru (BM). Business Manager Kimia
