Outcomes as well as the outcomes prescribed in the Geometry, Measurement and Finance 10 New
Brunswick Curriculum Document.
- A mark of 60% must be obtained in Geometry, Measurement and Finance 10 to be successful in the
course.
- Geometry, Measurement and Finance 10 is a prerequisite for Financial and Workplace 11 and
Foundations 11.
- Geometry, Measurement and Finance 10 is a graduation requirement.

Course Components
Proportional Reasoning, Earnings & Financial Services, Net Pay, Consumer Math, Trigonometry of Right
Triangles, Angles & Parallel Lines, & Converting Measurements

Course Expectations
Attendance: It is the responsibility of the student to find out what work has been missed during an
absence and to get caught up on notes, class work & missed assessments.

Extra Help: Please ask for help as soon as you have a question/concern/difficulty.
Extra help is available upon request at lunch time.

Required Materials: Binder/duo-tang, paper, scientific calculator, ruler, pencils

A Final Exam will be written at the end of this course valued at 20% of your mark.
Formative assessments will be given on a regular basis and evaluated.
These formative assessments may be considered as part of the final mark at the end of the semester.

Please see the Moncton High School Website for important information and policies.
