Course Description : This course aims at equipping students with theoretical and practical knowledge about basic principles of teaching and
learning process in classroom using literature review (either books or journal articles) as the main reference for group discussion. During the course
students will learn about theories and methods of language teaching, principles of language teaching, and teachers and students role so that they can
use it as a main consideration in selecting teaching strategies, material, media, as well as assessment that are appropriate to be applied in teaching
language skills and language components.

Course Objective(s) :
At the end of the course, students are expected to able to plan a lesson pertinent to language skills and language components by using their knowledge
of language teaching, principles of language teaching, and teachers and students role so as a main consideration in selecting teaching strategies,
material, media, and assessment.

Standard Competence(s) :
Upon completing the course, the students are expected to plan a lesson pertinent to language skills and language components appropriately.
