President Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
How are you today? I wish you all still in blessing God
Firstly, lets thank to God Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa who gives us
opportunity to gather on this meeting today which must be has much
disadvantages for our knowledge or even inspiring us.
Now I am stating that the meeting today is opened (while knocking the table
three times) and please welcome our Toastmaster today. Ms. Yesi Erdiana
Yanti

Ladies and Gentlemen, before we begin the meeting there is an aphorism
says We cannot knowing and each other by seeing the cover So its time
for introducing and telling the rules starts from the tuner give applause for
our timer.
Timer Thank you Ms.Toast Master for the time given to me. Good afternoon
everybody. My name is Cok Gung and Im as a timer. My responsibilities are
taking notes of the time, and giving signal anybody who speaks over than the
decisions time. Now Id like to read the rules :

1. Ill give opportunity to the Speaker to present the theme for about ten
minutes
2. Ill give opportunity to the Table Topic Speaker for about fifteen
minutes
3. Ill give opportunity to the timer for the speech evaluator for about
five minutes
4. Ill give opportunity to the Grammarian for about seven minutes
5. Ill give opportunity to the Ah-Counter for five minutes
6. Ill give opportunity to the Timer for five minutes
I have two colour cards, which each card has different signal. White
means the time is up and yellow mean the time run out two minutes.

Table Topic Thank you, Ms. Toastmaster for welcoming Good afternoon everybody, I'm
Speaker Palguna Putra as Table topic speaker. My duty stating the purpose of the
topic today and Giving some questions to all are the member here.
So Obesity is a chronic condition in the body where excess fat accumulation in
the body, exceeds the limits good for health. Obesity not only affects the
physical appearance of the sufferer, but also increases the risk in other health
conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
Obesity and overweight are two different concepts. Overweight is a condition
in which there is excess weight gain. However, weight gain is not only caused

by excess fat, but can also be caused by muscle mass or fluid in the body.
These conditions can have harmful effects on health.

today is useful for us because it relates to our daily actifity may be, to all
people. So my duty is presenting the topic as well as possible. What is the

Ok Thank you Ms.Toast Master for the time given to me, now I will
presenting our topic today, the topic today is Obesity
Obesity is an abnormal state of excessive fat accumulation that can disrupt
health. In general, obesity is caused by increased energy intake with high fat
content and decreased physical activity as a result of changes in social and
environmental patterns such as job changes, transportation and increased
urbanization. Increased intake of excess energy will gradually accumulate
and cause obesity.
Obesity is an abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat in the adipose tissue
to the extent that it can cause health problems, such as hyperinsulinemia,
diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, immunological disorders, and
some cancers
Obesity is a very high buildup of fat in the body that makes weight is beyond
the ideal limit.
A number of complications can arise due to obesity, even some of which
endanger life. Some examples of serious complications include stroke,
coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, and breast cancer.
In addition to leading to a number of physical health problems, obesity can
also cause psychological problems, such as stress, and depression. This
psychological problem arises because it usually starts from the self-
confidence of obese people who experience changes in body shape.

Symptoms of Obesity
- Hard to sleep
- Snoring
- Stop breathing for a while suddenly while sleeping
- Back or joint pain
- Excessive sweating
- Always feeling hot
- Rash or infection of the skin folds
- Hard to breathe
- Often sleepy and tired
- Depression

Causes & Risk Factors


There are genetic and hormonal influences on weight. The most basic thing
is obesity occurs when the body receives more calories than it burns. The
calories then accumulate and become fat.

Obesity is usually the result of a combination of the following factors:
Not physically active so fat burning becomes less
Eat high-calorie foods, especially fast food
Some women find it difficult to lose weight after childbirth, which leads to
obesity
Lack of sleep
Certain drugs, such as diabetes drugs, anti-seizures, antidepressants,
antipsychotics, steroids and beta blockers.
Other medical problems.

Risk factors

Lifestyle
Obesity can occur because of many factors, "However, 90% of obesity
occurs due to unhealthy lifestyles," said dr. Inge Permadhi, MS, SpGK,
nutrition clinic specialist from Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia.

One factor is that food intake exceeds the needs without adequate activity, or
the term cool, sedentary lifestyle (lifestyle without much movement). In fact,
enough activity is needed to burn the excess energy available. If this does
not happen, then the excess energy will be converted into fat and stored in
fat cells. But, do not panic immediately remember the amount of food you
ate last night. Because this does not happen in a short time, but in a long
period of time.

Genetic Factors
Another thing that can also cause obesity is a genetic factor, which is as
much as 25-35%. So, if any member of your family has a history of obesity,
then you have a higher risk of suffering from obesity than those who do not.
"But genetic factors are also associated with lifestyle problems that are less
healthy," said dr. Inge. Because if any member of your family has an obesity
problem caused by it, then it will also affect you.

Other Factors
Some other things that play a role in obesity are the consumption of certain
drugs-such as depression-and age. As you get older, the performance of your
metabolic system will decrease. This causes the fat to be stored more
quickly. The result? Your body will grow.

If the disease was just stalking adult men more precisely old age, now
obesity can easily attack teenagers, children to balitas.

To prevent obesity can perform the following actions:

Frequent exercise
Eat low-fat healthy foods
Keep your weight healthy
Always be consistent with planning on your healthy lifestyle everyday

There is a formula from Dr. Aman on how to avoid obesity, which is


"Formula 5210". Furthermore, Dr. Aman Bhakti Pulungan, Chief Scientific
Officer of IDAI, provides an explanation of this formula.

5 times (minimum) eat fruits and vegetables every day


Keep fruits and vegetables always there, even if the fruit is cheap.

2 hours of sitting is too long


Outside of school time, children should not sit for more than two hours.
When watching television, playing games, and so forth should be pruned.
Most seats make your metabolism disturbed and there is no burning of
calories that leads to obesity.

1 hour of physical activity every day


In addition to physical activity of one hour per day, try to do a structured
exercise for 20 minutes at least three times a week. Physical activity can take
the form of roads, climb stairs, and so on. The habit of getting out of the car,
entering the classroom, as well as being picked up directly into the car again
should be thrown away. Sports that can be selected such as roads, running,
cycling, and swimming.

As little as possible to consume sweet drinks. Currently most children drink
sweet drinks, such as tea and juice. All that must be reduced and replaced
with plenty of drinking water.

Obesity occurs because the imbalance of the amount of food that comes in
compared with the energy expenditure by the body as a result of food
consumption far exceeds its needs.

Obesity symptoms include snoring, sleep apnea, shortness of breath, pain in
the knee joint, lower back pain, rash, excessive sweating, easy depression,
and serine. Classification for the degree of obesity is determined by BMI.
Obesity associated with metabolic syndrome which is the beginning of
degeneration diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart
disease, stroke, cancer, and others.
Factors that cause obesity are two that is directly as environmental factors,
genetic factors, hormonal, food intake, psychology and factors indirectly
such as nutritional knowledge and eating arrangements.
Preventive forms that can be done is the regulation of nutrition and diet,
multiply the activity, and modification of lifestyle and behavior.
