Downloading and Installing for New MATLAB Users

Step 1: Create A MathWorks Account
Go to the MathWorks website by typing http://www.mathworks.com in the
address bar on your web browser. If you do not already have a MathWorks
account click on the link create account. Use your UNM email address to
create your Mathworks account. Once you have reached the create account
page select academic use from the drop-down menu and fill in the required
information.

Step 2: Sign Into Your MathWorks Account

Step 3: Associate the UNM license with your Matworks Account.

Click on My Account. Click on Manage Licenses. Click on Add Licenses.
Select the appropriate Activation Key for your usage and enter it in the space
provided.

Step 4: Download and Install Matlab

Under License Detail select download products, then select platform. Next
you have the option to install all products by choosing select all, or you can
choose select products to select the products you wish to install from a list
(you should select all).

Once you have made your selection download the software. After the
download is complete select a license and enter in the activation key you used
in Step 3. Once you have entered the key click activate.

Be sure that while downloading, your computer does not, at any time, lose
connectivity to the Internet.

Activate existing MATLAB Program with the new activation key:

Step 1: Start Matlab on your computer.

Step 2: At the top select help and click on it.
Step 3: Click on License
Step 4: Click on Activate software
Step 5: Log into your Mathworks account.
Step 6: Select enter an activation key.
Step 7: Click Activate Software
